It seems like it is the same as last years. I did it and I had to balance scales, hit a certain key based on if a number was odd or even and pointed or round, there was a simple one where you have to select a certain key based on the direction of an arrow, the last gamey sort of one was where you have to predict whether it will be day or night based on a pair of symbols. The last assessment was one where you had to decide what emotion people were feeling.
Overall my score was 1/4/2/4/4.
Feeling hopeful!

Testing question
Does anyone know if failing the cognitive stage of the tests prevents you from progressing to the next stage? I heard that BA still puts candidates through all the maths, science, and cognitive tests regardless of their score.

Just finished my Arctic Shores, the balance test was much harder than my practice material but I found the other tests pretty fine.
Ended with a 4/4 on the first 3 topics, 2/4 on numerics and 3/4 on learning. No idea what to expect, kind of beating myself up over numerics though - I’m worried that alone has now cut me out.
Best of luck to everyone

Matbe it's not for you because you don't really want it? If you did perhaps you'd be saying "Another year of working 3 jobs, another year closer to a pilots licence".

How did people find the last task with the faces and emotions? I came out with a one, despite working in a team and also dealing with a large number of people every day! Feel this has let me down, overall I scored 1-4-4-3-2.

I got a 2 in numeric because I just had no idea what to do with those scales. Regardless that my best grades in school were maths and I did it at A level. Plus I am like a pig in mud when it comes to gen nav, performance and planning. Yet I am not a fan of met which these tests indicate that I am.
These selection processes are more about your motivational statement and how you interview as that is what makes you.

I found the Expressions tricky as well. I got a 2 on that but 4 on everything else. It feels like a really peculiar test - I spoke to my friend who's a highly experienced captain and he was equally perplexed since you're seldom using non-verbal communication on the flight deck.

I am really curious to know what this years application numbers are. As far as I can find there were 18,000 in the previous or first year. I wonder if there are more or less this year. I also wonder if they will administer tests in waves like the previous years. Has anyone not been administered a test yet?

My 2 cents: I did some decent prep beforehand and scored 1,3,3,4,4 (15/20 if captured numerically). Strangely scored 1 on the facial recognition test like mentioned by someone else. Very strange since I had practiced this exact test using other providers and scored extremely high, I have no social awareness issues and have been working in a fast paced corporate environment for 5 years almost. Anyways hope everyone else also done ok and progresses to the next stage which I presume is the AON tests ?

yeah ngl I am quite worried, I scored 1,3,4,4,2
the 1 being ‘How You Understand Others’ the narrative suggests I work better working 1-to-1 with only occasional teamwork - which isn’t correct - and in worried that’s gonna cull me at this stage.
obviously nothing I can do now and I shouldn’t worry about it it’s all locked in on their side just got to wait and see.

I progressed to the one way interview stage last year (butchered it lol) which means I passed the Arctic Shores last year. I feel I did worse this year but managed 3,4,4,2,2.
I practiced using Pilot Aptitude Test beforehand for a few hours which kind of helped but found the scales test on PAT was not great compared to the actual test.

Just to clarify, did you get rejected after the digital interview or did you complete the AON tests as well? Interested to know as I thought I messed up the digital interview last year but I did make it onto AON testing afterwards. I wasn't sure if people who did the interview also had to do AON regardless, or if you had to pass the digital interview to get to AON.

Application -> Arctic Shores -> Physics -> Aon -> Motivational Assessment
Why do you think Aon is after the Digital Interview?
I spoke to PAT on live chat and they are making a 'Science E-Learning' so I will use this for Physics. Did anyone do Physics last year?

In the PDF for 2026, it is:
Application -> Arctic Shores -> Physics -> Aon -> Motivational Assessment

Edit: I can see it says "On successful completion, you will be asked to take a physics assessment.". Odd that it doesn't have a separate numbered section for that.
