Nothing yet - it took about two days last time. Good luck!

Would anybody be interested in a WhatsApp group to discuss applications? The old one seems to have expired

Jet2

They have just confirmed receipt of the application and said they would be in touch in the coming weeks.

Want to spend my time working through 'relevant' practice questions rather than ones that aren't in line with what I might come across during the recruitment process.
PAT every time! They give you all assessments in one subscription so you can prepare for BA, Jet2, Ryanair and other schemes at the same time for one fee, and their support is really nice. Good guys who care about helping you.

I tried JobTestPrep but it was just some slideshows with not much functionality and other websites make you buy individual assessments which is very expensive!

For people who applied last year - does anyone know what type of questions are asked in the Motivational Assessment (Stage 4), and what happens after this? Did you get invited to an interview in-person? It would be useful to know to prepare.

Received an email last night that basically reads like they’re not gonna send out assessments till shortly after 6th March (deadline date).

What does everyone make on the situation of Cover Letters? Has anyone enquired to them about it and got a response? Interesting that the form mentioned a Cover Letter in the beginning but then it changed... it no longer mentions it.

Was the cover letter opportunity in a section after the CV drop box? Not gotten past that page in the application yet as still finishing up CV editing but can't see any mention of a cover letter at this point.

I wrote and sent a cover letter and AFAIK this is no longer a requirement, they removed it from the application.

Adding onto my previous reply, it is worth noting however they haven't yet removed it from the job description - however this may be a mistake.

Re cover letter - email has been distributed requesting cover letters are added to applications in addition to CVs and motivation question.

Is the scheme open to any age group or is it realistically aimed at those between 18 and 26?

Any age for sure. Being slighly older would likely give you an edge on the assessment day as you have a lot more professional social experience

Well they may ask you to redo some of the tests in person. But there are follow up tests at the assessment centres anyway. Cant imagine you would pass those if you can't pass the first set.

Considering it seems to be such a tool for culling candidates, surely some people slip through by using software to assist with some tests?
I don't think many people would risk possibly getting permanently banned from being hired in the future for these tests as Jet2 has no re-application limit.

Hi, I am 16 and currently doing GCSES. I would really like to be a pilot one day. Although my parents are willing to pay for it, they plan to retire in a few years, making schemes like this one of my only choices. Does anyone have any tips to go about the next few years of my life, so after finishing A-Levels, I would be able to apply?

Attached cover letter, despite the contents being largely the same as the motivation box that I filled in when a cover letter wasn't required! Does anyone know if we need to wait until the closing date to hear back, or do they start processing applications immediately on receipt?
