Many thanks for your comments on this post Luke!
They know that any real calculation takes time so it was even simpler than that in sense of their use of values of crosswind being easy fractions say half that of the forward airspeed so looking at say 22.5 degree adjustment (NNE for example) or if you have 100 miles to cover heading 180 @ x kts with a y crosswind how far E or W would you be offset, again they use easy numbers, I don’t want to commit to an example or wording as I’m sure they pull a lot out of a question pool and there’s nothing worse than thinking you know what there going to mean and it’s different but honestly just sort of read the question, visualise it and you’ll most likely see an answer to tick that matches what you think in your head, there was questions on numerical vectors (velocity vs speed)too but read them carefully as they again know there’s no time for real calcs so the answer will be in the wording they just want to see you know what they mean

oh that’s slightly promising! I did apply towards the end of the application window and I did do the tests on the last day I’ll hope it’s that 😂😂😂!

Just done my physics test, think I've done well enough - what do we think the cut off will be to progress to the next stage?

I've just submitted mine! I answered all questions with exception to one question on section one. That was harder than I thought it would be, just because of how fast you need to work it out, and then I got hung up on the timer.

Hoping that I've done enough to get through. I was practising forces, word problems all week with time, distance and speed calculations too. I didn't enjoy that test at all...found it quite stressful.

If we are fortunate enough to get through to the Assessment Day, I've heard that we have to do the Physics and Maths tests again? (I'm not sure how true that is).

I done mine other day. I’m 50/50 on it. I didn’t miss any questions, majority of them felt easy , couple hard ones in there and I definitely guessed one of them. But overall the test wasn’t as bad as I thought it might have been 😂. Now I await to see if I done good enough and if jet2 agrees.

I have heard that. It is a possibility if they want to double check your scores. Not worth worrying about till we get that far but if we do. Same case just do a bit of practice before going to sit it.

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone from last year who has gotten through to the digital interview round could share the kinds of questions that were asked? From reading on here is it more of a motivational interview?

I'll be honest and I'll pass on the same information I was passed on last year.

The closer you get to the final stages the less help/advice you'll get and you may actually get peoples backs up asking.

If someone were to give you a heads up and you got through and they didn't, that's not ideal. So you may find very vague help as you get closer to the end.

There's also no guarantee the questions this year (or even the format) will be the same.

The irony is not lost on me that I haven't given you an answer!

Sorry - didn’t mean it to come across that way! I completely agree - otherwise what’s the point in the interview! I just was a bit confused about whether this was a motivational type interview or more technical, if this was different to last year

Anyone has received invitation to Aon yet? I am not sure if my score in Physics was good or bad!

they said in their email the 30th when to expect a reply. So that’s when we will either see we’ve made it to AON tests or the bin 😎🤣

No need to apologise. I asked a similar question last year and got a similar answer, so just passing on!

Last years questions weren't technical.

My son completed the physics test, but there is no mention of the 30th in his confirmation of receipt email. It's a little confusing as it mentions 'digital assestment/interview!

It was in the email sent alongside the physics test email. One was from Hirevue with the link to the test the other was from Jet2.

Just received my rejection. Not entirely surprised as I think I only managed 70% correct after doing some post test research.

Seeing as it no longer benefits me, the questions from the digital interview last year were along the lines of:

1) What made you apply for the Jet2FligthPath and what would it mean to you to be accepted.
2) Why do you want to work for Jet2.
3) Describe 2 activities you enjoy and why.

I can't remember exactly but it was something like that. You have 1 minute to prepare and 1 minute to answer with no do-overs.

My advice for people would be to perhaps do some research into Jet2 and figure out their core values and try to intertwine that into your answers.

Good luck to those still in it!

I received the email yesterday that I passed the Physics and I would receive 2 invites by 6pm (one for the Motivational Interview and one for the AON tests) - I received 1 invitation for the Motivational Interview but I didn't receive a second invitation for the tests - has anyone else had this issue?

I did email them as advised in the original message to let them know, I haven't heard back yet (I know it's still early) but I am a bit concerned with there being a 4 day deadline as I did get an auto reply from their email address stating they are very busy and to be patient. I can't find a contact number for them - has anyone had to email them about any other issues and had a quick response?

I didn’t receive mine at the time they said either but has them emailed to me about half an hour ago. In fairness, it says at the bottom of the email that they ask for it to be completed within 4 days of receiving the invite, so presumably if you don’t get it for a few days you will still get 4 days from then.
