aye it is. They use hirevue for the video interviews as well as some of the assessments. I’m still unsure what aviation fundamentals is unless they’re testing your physics knowledge first then applying that to physics that effect aircraft. Trying to see if you have a basic knowledge of aircraft. Who knows, only one way to find out 🤣

Hi guys, bit late to the thread but will throw my experience so far in the hat! Completed my Arctic Shores on the 14th just in the nick of time too, scored poor on numerical which hurt after using maths every day since 2014, then a 2 for understanding others the rest were 4s, just had the invite to physics this evening, dunno if this helps anyone else’s questions but so far glad to be here!

I imagine it’ll be simpler than anything ATPL level. If it’s only 3 minutes per section then the questions they ask won’t be heavily complex that requires a lot of calculations and working stuff out. I imagine it’ll be a bit of quick mental maths, and questions won’t be too dramatic on the physics side. Plus it’s multiple choice so you can get a rough answer and go for the one that’s closest too it! Just refresh your physics brain as if your like me you haven’t gone deep in to physics since school 🤣. I’ll be alright on the flying side of it i imagine as I’m halfway through my PPL at the moment but I’m going to refresh other physic elements incase they pop up like electricity and all that.

I haven't done any Physics like this since College, and that was years ago! 😂

Hey guys just let you know the physics and fundamentals is nothing to worry about, very much gcse level physics and a bit of sense, just read the questions fully there’s a couple that didn’t math up for me at first then realised I’d misread and lost out on a question before the timer hopefully that doesn’t leave me in too negative a place

genuinely don’t overthink it, it’s as simple as direction of flight is x with crosswind y placing you at z what course should you take to correct, no f=ma etc and very simple velocity questions, nothing that requires breaking out the calculator etc, bit of velocity vs speed which at first caught me off guard but they’re simple numbers

8 questions in 3 mins but honestly don’t worry about it plenty of time my only real advice is read the questions properly it could be simple to read a subtraction as a final figure etc, multiple choice is nice as mental maths or whatnot would land you on a number that’s listed or a direction, graphs are simple, I feel like their assessment setup has filtered a lot out by this stage so if you’ve got this far you probably won’t have an issue! Good luck for Sunday!

Hey guys I’m new here, can I ask if someone can check the WhatsApp link? I’m unable to join.
Just completed the physics and aviation questions I thought it wasn’t anything too difficult. Just turn your brain on

No, I suspect if you pass the physics/aviation assessment, you then will complete the AON assessment before the digitial interview.
They just use the same provider to administer the Physics test and DI, hence some confusion.
