No, but I am thinking of contacting FTE to ask if they can share any results. If they can't, that's ok. But if they can, it will be great to know where to improve next time.

Is anyone yet to hear back from BA at this stage?

I’m yet to hear if I’ve gotten through the FTE tests or if I’ve been rejected. On the BA careers page my application is still just shown as submitted.

Hoping no news is good news

Did you maybe sit the tests later on? Mine were on the second or third day available due to commitments at work.

Just wondering if they might stagger responses based on when the tests were sat.

Does anyone have any info on the waterside assessment day by any chance? Will British Airways be in contact to give further instructions or is it going to be a case of preparing for any and everything possible? Any help would be much appreciated

Could anyone confirm if Waterside HQ has parking for assessment candidates? The latest email I received states "Parking will be provided for the duration of your assessment...", yet on the How to find us PDF it states at the top "we are unable to offer parking here (unless you're attending your Joint Appointment).

There is sufficient parking at Waterside; however you will need to have your invitation for assessment day handy for security and you will be guided appropriately.

Perfect, thanks for the help. That takes one less stress away from the assessment day!

Hi Zain,

I got through to the very last stage of the SPA last year, and would be glad to help if you can drop me a DM! Did you manage to catch their webinars? They did reshuffle some things!

Kind regards
Chris

Hi Chris,

Is it okay if you could DM me? As it will not let me send anyone a message till I've made 3 posts but I'd like to avoid spamming a forum as well, thanks!

Hey BEWD, yeah no problem, I think i might fall foul of that rule myself but this should work. Just a flag though you might not be able to respond unless you have another post!

Handling test

Morning,

One of the assessment day stages is to complete a handling test. Could someone help a little with this please in terms of maybe how best to prepare or how to improve in this regard? Whether that’s through a DM or here. I’m aware it’s more aptitude based however I believe becoming familiar with the test and manoeuvring required will aid me.

Thank you

Or is it still liable to change after Stage 2? So for example, someone might have done Stage 2 with SB, but at the end of the process might get allocated FTE?
Wonder if anyone knows about this?

There are a number of people asking about the assessment days. Many of these questions have been answered earlier in this thread. I know it's 139pages but I would at least encourage you to look through the posts since January this year for the 2025 information.

Never-the-less, I will point to some helpful information just for ease....

Watch the Spa webinars which tell you much of what you need to know:

My own post talks about handling test and capacity test:

I've not done it yet but it seems doubtful, given that it's assessing your capacity. If you can readily write stuff down it isn't really assessing your short term memory and ability to do other tasks at the same time. Pretty sure the prep material as well as the webinars make no mention of it being available.
