Seriously, I think people who hasn’t received the PA invite (including myself) by now is most likely going to get rejected ☹️ It’s my first time applying but I really rather them sending out rejections along the way, instead of making people wait until the end 😫

I received a rejection email this morning and I’m so disappointed since I wanted this so badly. I thought I did quite well in all 3 tests and I also have a degree but hey, it wasn’t enough I guess. Gotta wait for next year.

I'm really confused as my test results I'm 99% sure were great. It can only mean my motivational answer and CV weren't appropriate which is so annoying! It's hard to portray how much you want to do something in one paragraph and it seems dumb to me that it's done at this stage. If I were BA I'd want as many going through the AON tests as possible so you get the most cognitively capable and then looking at motivation and interviews properly and in person but that's their system so will try again next time! It's hard to take as it feels like you're being told 'we don't think you want this' but internally, we know what we want we obviously just haven't portrayed that
Then again, it could be something else altogether.

First course in 2024 cohort was Jan 2025 and they run monthly through to October 2025. Between 10 and 20 SPA students per course (out of a total of 20 students). Q1 2025 starts I think were favoured to those already with Class 1 because its a quick turnaround from offer to start date, particularly if you get deferred.

The AON tests probably cost money per candidate for BA to put people through given how much more in depth they are than Stage 1 and the fact they're involving the schools. Far easier to give a motivational answer which takes under a minute to assess.
It's only fair that the tests are very mixed at this stage. They have been clear from the outset that they don't just want cognitive ability and the short writing exercise given is an easy way to assess that. Read the question over and over again and ask yourself if your response directly answered the question. Best of luck for next time.

It can imagine it is rather frustrating, because with everybody getting to sit all 3 tests this year, it's almost impossible to know whether it was tests or CV/statement, let alone which test specifically.

Anyway, good luck to all who have progressed and I'll look forward to keeping an eye on what's to come! Sort of jealous I won't be able to do the next round of testing!
