I see Andrew at Flight Deck / Flight School Wingman talking about his in-person courses, and every time he mentions it, a good 3+ Speedbird candidates are in planned attendance. Genuine question, are these candidates spending out the best part of £400 now on the hope they make it at first through the initial online assessments, and then through the cut-e aptitude testing, for in-person assessment days in potentially 10+ weeks’ time?

Anyone heard anything?

I know a lot of us were told we may not hear anything post checking test until the 24th, anyone heard anything? Some people are saying it was the 25th on their ones. Good luck all!

Has anybody received anything today? This wait is agonising. I haven't seen many say they're through to the PA assessment in the last few days and have seen nobody mention a rejection. I suppose that not many will race onto here to announce that they've failed but usually, somebody does at some point. I assume that the bulk of applicants are yet to receive anything..

It would be unfair to give insight that other candidates didn't have. Yes, it is a little different to last year, all is very clearly explained beforehand though

Has anyone heard anything? I finished the checking morning of the 21st so figure I’m towards the end of the list of people to receive notice today?

I don’t remember if the wording was hear something on or after the 24th

Finished my checking test on 15th and still yet to hear anything further. They definitely said ‘by’ the 24th. Starting to lose hope now 😢

I think the 24th was for the first three tests then if you do the PA then that will be early March from what I remember.

I had 24 hours between myself doing each of the initial 3 tests then 4 days before my PA. Although I did my checking test on the Friday evening and got my PA test on the Tuesday so not sure if they work on the weekends checking people's CV's etc?

I've not heard anything yet -- finished the checking on the morning of the 17th, so unsure whether the radio silence is good or bad news! I think the exact wording was something along the lines of we may not hear back until the 24th, but I'm assuming with the manual CV checks there may be some delays given the volume of applications?

Is anyone using a well-known tutor / pre-assessment mentor? I’ve seen posts and 80% of the courses seem to be Speedbird applicants. Curious if some already know they’re through, or are chancing it in the hope they do get through (and through cut-e too)?

A lot of people have been expecting to hear something today. However given that people are still in Stage 1 testing till Friday 28th in some cases it would be surprising that today specifically would herald any significant announcements. It'd make more sense if it was a week from now.

Does anyone have the exact wording BA related to today if any?
