If I remember correctly they said on the webinars that while it will record audio and your camera when doing the assessment, the video wont be seen by the person at British Airways who is assessing it, they will only be able to hear the audio.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

It’s video and audio but BA have said they only get the audio.

Hi all i completed my detail checking test on the 16th but am yet to hear back. I was just wondering if they have sent out rejection emails already, so maybe no news is good news. Because i have seen some people had the PA invite already. Let me know what you think

Well that's the Checking Test done. I think I've done reasonably well - answered all the questions and to the best of my knowledge I got most if not all correct.

I think my personal statement/CV may let me down as I rushed the statement. I'm slightly older so I'm coming from an established career - hopefully my experiences will count in my favour.

Hi all, first post here - would anyone be able to say if the passenger announcement can be completed on a desktop computer, or if I’ll need to do it on my phone? Cheers!

I did mine off desktop but make sure you configure your microphone etc first. As chrome defaulted straight to my webcam mic which sounded like I was in a helicopter but you can back out and come back in till you get it good.

You do need both a webcam and microphone however as you need to record it as video.

Email help

Hi All, a bit of a weird one now, but a lot of people seem to be receiving emails for rejections or the PCA, I completed my checking test a week ago today, anyone have any suggestions on what to do or have a contact number for the Speedbird academy please?

Are there any practice sites that are particularly good for SJT and rest of tests that people recommend? Loads on line but just picking the right one.

Thanks

Think I'm in the same boat as you on the statement. Reading over it now I feel like I could have said more, but look, bottom line is they want the most capable candidates, so I reckon the test results will be the overall decider unless there are major red flags in your statement/CV.

Fingers crossed, best of luck all.

When you got the invite to the PA assessment, how long do you have to complete it?

I used PASS PilotAssessment.com which was really handy! You have to pay for it but it's worth it IMO. Plus if you google PASS discount code, Stephen AV8 from YouTube has a $5 off coupon 👍

I'm in the same boat.. now hoping that they don't keep rejections till the last minute as I haven't heard anything yet either😥
