this simply isn't true. i'm BA LHR cabin crew, have been for 3 years hence the username, and last week i flew with 2 of the onboarding and recruitment captains on a short haul block and they've both said people have been manually reviewing the applications including CVs and test results.

Out of interest, has anyone not heard anything since finishing the tests? I completed the checking test on the 15th - was hoping to hear on the 24th but haven't received any 'march 7th' or pass/fail emails and starting to assume the worst

I received the 7th March email today after completing the checking test. Is everyone getting this or are people still getting rejection and pa invites? Assumed it would be automated at this stage following the combined test results.

The PA invites seem to be coming out in batches. The stage after the tests isn’t automated because it involves a human reviewing your CV and answer to the motivation question before deciding to invite you to do the PA.

Just finished my PA. Mixed feelings but out of my hands now! Been told it will take up to 2 weeks for them to get back to me so I will have to find every distraction possible until then... Have been seeing many ask about timelines etc so thought maybe I could tell you of mine, if that helps. I never received an email about 7th March - not sure if this is good or bad news?
Submitted application: 17th Feb
Invite and completed SJT: 18th Feb (Invite to Maths the next day) (Finished with time to spare)
Completed Maths test: 21st Feb (Invite to Detail the next day) (Ran out of time but did 21/25 questions)
Completed checking test: 23rd Feb (Finished with time to spare)
Invite to PA: 25th Feb
My secondary grades are a combination of IGCSE/GCSE and I did IB. But because I met the requirements for the GCSEs I believe they wouldn't have bothered converting my international grades. Hopefully this timeline helps but I think where they have to manually review everyone's CV and MQ after the tests, it will take some time for people to be notified. Best of luck to all!

I am also a train driver, mid way through my 20s and I flew for BA as crew for a couple of years and still have that flying itch. Like you I applied on a whim and am interested to see how far I can get.
A lot of people here are saying that the statement has a lot of say on how you progress and I can’t say I spent a long time writing mine aha

I know of one from the GA world and one from an ME3 airline who have decided to stay on the trains. I think age possibly plays a role too, the older folks being more likely to stay on the trains.

There will be a Physics test during the second stage of the progress, from the Flight Schools alongside AON/Cut-e testing.

Yes, but only after the PA stage. My post was in reference to people worrying that assessments were being delayed due to other things on their applications at the online assessment stage. There's no way people are reading through ~16,000 CV's & motivational answers line by line.
