Pilotette, so got the time on the Aerostar up then or was this one of the "art trips".

Darwin the first, just at the top of the taxiway from GA and about to line up 11.

Dunno the second but looks vaguely familiar.

Whats an " arts trip "?

Travelling around training artists or taking tourists / buyers to remote communities to view / purchase art ??

pic 1 is definatly from the holding point on V2. Second one is bugging me because, like PLovett, it looks very familiar.

BTW, you didn't happen to be in Elcho Island last wednesday were you?

Good work guys!
Yep nig&nog...tracking directly over the top of Tindal.
PLovett...yeah been getting a few hours on it and this trip in particular was an "art trip" too. Taking the curator on the National Gallery of Victoria and other beneficiaries around the Islands to buy art.
Yep spent the night on Elcho last Wednesday!

The Lance was absolutely pristine compared to the crusty Bo on my other side! I was surprised to see it had actually flown away the next morning

Yes, but a crusty Bo is still a Bo, whereas a Lance is just a Lance!

Geez............if you think the Aerostar is sexy you should see the pilot.

Shouda' guessed Tindal by the way the road sweeps around the airfield.

What aircraft is this ?

The photo is from Far Eastern Russia in the early 1990's and I think it is a BE 12 Amphibious machine.

Any confirmation of this ?

Thanks.
