LRT, just had a look at the date you took that photo, and the scary thing is I was in Boulia that day and remember those storms. I was confronted with a nice big front of them when I went to fly back to YBMA that afternoon!

VH-WZR was the craft in my hands that day, .

And Hells Gate, of course! Now all those 44 gallon drums look familiar. How could I forget that place....

- was quote interesting seeing that be constructed in such a short time frame. Every time flew over it more layers had been dug out/compacted.

Timber Creek .. hills give it away , with the road winding past ,some good chikko rolls at the servo there!

No 3 is Bond Springs, just north of YBAS.

I have done more than one or two circuits there over the past few years.

squawk, is that VH-DSP? Looks like a hangar door fell on it.. Or maybe could have something to do with the tire marks headed in the direction of the tail...
