I thought this was a joke when someone showed it to me at first... or perhaps a mock-up from the latest Australian B-grade movie.

Would anyone even want to own up to knowing what it is?

Ahhhh they were a fine looking ship, would love to have flown one. Those Allisons still turn me on and the four smoketrails, non PC now made em really easy to spot.

Is that a DC6 in the background??

Ok, here we go, first attempt at posting pictures. This came into YMOR yesterday arvo. He parked just outside our hangar medivac, I'm having a yarn to the driver, and next thing my wife and I are passengers for an hours ride! Probably a once in a lifetime experience I reckon.







And Wiz of oz, I will have a stab and say it's a 150hp model pawnee, as for the time and place, well?
