The Home of Photos in Dunnunda! Mk I
I think my friend has buzzed off across the ditch to have a look at the Mozzie.
The HR was a forgettable model.
Let me see .... A world first?
Well there was the X2 engine option but I'm sure that twin carbies have been done before.
The pedestrian slicer front bodywork ....
Nothin' unique about disk brake options or ball joint front suspensions ...
One of the blokes in our town had one which had the most vile mustard coloured paint I've ever seen ...
Nope! Give up! Pass!

Evening Jas, What about the 1957 Imperial Crown???

1957: Imperial introduces the industry's first curved side window glass and a compound curved windshield.

I'm glad I got a photo of one these - this one is VH-ANW at YPAD in the same general era as the others. Apologies for the poor colour of the sky, it somehow seems to have been a 8/8 clag day anyway.
Oh yes - there's a ute in there too ....

I'm more than happy to defer to Jas here, but I reckon that's an EH because it looks to have a round fuel cap , whereas the EJ had a hinged fuel filler flap at the left side rear upper.
Jas, Whaddaya reckon?

Not sure on the EH there trent. The front panels say EH.
Picture isn't clear enough to view the wiper grille, or fuel flap, but that might just be my Aldi style screen

Re 'ANW',......
As the chorus of the song featuring this aircraft goes....
"She was in love with the pilot, but he was in love with the sky....".
You can guess the theme.....
Applies to many of us I reckon.....

I'm probably pushing the limits of this topic here (Moderators please delete if you agree), but here are enlargements of the areas mentioned in an earlier contribution. (I'm also pushing the limits of the camera and original emulsion capabilities)
The one including the fuel cap possibly solves the equation.

Super Cecil. I think they may be Wrights, not Pratts? VH-ANW Bu No 13624, ex 42-93685, last VH-GAK, now purportedly preserved at Myalup, WA 6220.
"VH-ANW was part of the McDonalds restaurant at Midland, Perth from 1987 to 2000. It was displayed in fictitious markings as VH-MMF "Fortescue" of MacRobertson Miller Airlines. After being stored at RAAF Caversham in W.A. the aircraft was sold to Mr Blair Howe of Myalup, W.A. The aircraft was trucked from Caversham to Myalup on 23rd August 2003 to be displayed on Mr Howe's airstrip."

Wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere in the world but Ardmore this morning!

Rolling.

Airborne for the first time.

Been a while since that shape's been seen in the sky!

Well done everyone involved in this project at Ardmore . I just might have to come across to the next airshow in which it stars. I've yet to see a Mozzie flying.
Very nice pictures too.
