Good video - people having fun - plenty of variety - lots of activity
A couple of snaps from the archives.
Anuha before the resort was built (and burnt)
About where the prop arc is on the second photo, went over the side of the yacht on a dark-night night dive later, and had crayfish crawling everywhere on the bottom. Surfaced to find a thunderstorm raging.

Not me, Jaba! Never flew a Death Pencil out of Brisbane. Just a view I know well.
Not sure about the Christmas party? Didn't know there was one!
Nice flying Chuck! Always good to see the old girls doing what they were made for

Yesterday morning. An exercise with crews from the Sunshine Coast and Hervey Bay here too. Jim donated his 180. We gave them a cup of coffee and a snack after. 'Irish' cooked the sausages.
Does that foam stuff your paint?
I remember the carby in my Kingswood V8 backfired and caught on fire at a fuel bowser back in the late 90s. (after I tipped a little bit down the carby to get it going). The owner ran out with the Foam and gave it a hit. It caused the paint in my engine bay to start flaking

If they were clever it would have been water and some mild car wash.....same effect, and a clean C180 afterwards
Otherwise I hope that C180 was not airworthy, because it will be like an Aspro in the future.

Good to see the photos without comment on the previous page caused some to think about these things. Wasn't prepared to volunteer anything myself in case of a mix-up, but offered to help in other ways. Prefer to wash my aircraft myself thanks.
One opinion from an engineer, was that foam used was inert anyway....

It's a Siai Marchetti S.211 formerly of the Republic of Singapore Air Force but I have no idea where.
Nice bit of kit though. I wish I could afford to buy one! Actually, I could probably buy one if the missus didn't mind me re-drawing on the mortgage, I just wouldn't have any money left over to fly it.

on the type.
I didnt know that was ex Singapore AF, cheers for that.
So they are priced about as "reasonably" as you could get for an ex military jet then? Just the running costs are rather astronomical?
