Yes actually - an indication of how focused I was is the fact MY camera was in my pocket and it never even crossed my mind to hand it to Jaba - who left HIS (much betterer) camera at home.

You might think that this is an anonymous forum, but only as far as your username is concerned. Don't be fooled into thinking that you can hide behind your PC and say anything you like and get away with it.

PB my real identity has been no great secret on this forum for a decade - I have no need for secrecy because I NEVER post stuff that would require it. My Fleet Captain calls me 'Chimbu'. Chimbu chuckles was my nick name in PNG - If I wanted anonymity I would have chosen a different user name.

Hows about posting some pics of the "rotten russian" you're flying over Warnervale?
I wish I was flying it, alas I wasn't allowed much time flying on the way up from Camden. I got to fly a Tiger Moth back though. Happy days

One of the owners was flying most of the way and I was in the back. Love that radial growl....

Fogged in before departure

On the ground at Warnervale

The other side back at Camden

...flying the Tiger back

Have notified the relevant state authorities, don't want another kid growing up with an avaition addiction.

First words no doubt will be Bonanza!

Welcome to the world young Jacob - when you're just a bit older we are going to have LOTS of fun together winding your Mum up and maybe a little flying too.

Welcome to the mad world of aviation little Jacob - if you're lucky grandpa might finish restoring the Bo before you start school!

Is that photo for real? I have never heard of a V tailed long bodied Bo (a la '36). Recall no mention in Larry Ball's books either.

Interesting!

Bevan..
