I really doubt this thread would ever get closed because of drift.......however to add some reality back into it, perhaps WannabeQF was retrenched from employment which he was using to help fund his pilot training.....
That said, great one notmyC150v2

Amen to that brother.
Jaba tried to get me to go and meet him there the other day!
I break out in a cold sweat just thinking about that place.
Just mention the word "PAWNEE" and I reclude into a blubbering mess in the corner.
Not hard to work this one out ..

A little more progress in the last 5 days. The aft roof skin and port rear window frame back on and the port fuselage ready to accept its new skin.
And this just for QF Wankerbe - a real cockpit.
This is the cockpit of a Tiger I used to fly 25+ years ago which a mate is just finishing restoring ground up in the hangar across from my Bo. It should fly this weekend - but I will have to wait until I am next in town to get my mitts on the old girl again.
The attention to detail on this restoration is quite breathtaking and a credit to Ron.
Dragged the motor bikes out of the shed last Sunday and we headed out to Watts Bridge to catch up with a certain Ppruner mate to take a look at his new toy. To give this behemoth some scale I am 6'2"/185cm
And as I was soon to discover when I sat in it to run the engine and taxi it around a bit - the Tiger Moth has more leg room
Also had an enjoyable 45 minutes or so flying Jaba's RV-10 out of YCAB last Thursday - it flies as good as it looks...just fantastic - and Jaba/Chris are to be congratulated too on an excellent job building it, not only extremely well, but in little more than 8 months...the bloody thing has more technology in the cockpit than the B767 I will be flying in a few days time - all in all a great 8 day break back in paradise.

When did flying at 100ft'ish along the beach become legal in the Sydney basin / NSW? RAAus must be useless and never take any action if you are prepared to post such a pic in here and disappointing that you are also an RAAus instructor. If that was a CASA registered aircraft you'd be up for 50 demerit points and $5,500 in fines and don't try and tell me that was on Fraser Island or similar!
