I almost posted a pic of who you were squeezed in with, and she is about twice your age

Not a bad sort though.....I even trusted her to ride my GSXR!

WOAH WOAH FTDK!
a) she's double my age, did the maths
b) I'm taken, I am very loyal, unlike most teen males.

You better be careful there.. I might post things you don't want me to post...

Jaba and the Chuckler broke the Bonza
Lets face it...the alternator karked it...who would dare suggest it had not earned a rest..prolly pumped more amps out than any 10 other IO520 alternators...prolly worked harder than the prototype did during certification 'testing to destruction'

Or maybe, as the good Doc transferred pretty well the entire nav suit (2 GPS' and a tablet-although I suspect there were more ) over to his brothers Mooney, the alternator felt it had been put out to pasture and died of a broken heart?

It just occurred to me- The Bonanza gets called a Boner so does that make the Mooney a Mooner or a Moaner?

hey Dr what denomination Mooney is that?

I figure if the lovely is twice Pyro's age (by calculation) then she's still very young !

Something look out of place in that pix, not sure whether it's the church or the plane, 'she' can stay but sumfin's gotta go !!

Haha looks like Pyro is getting one hell of an induction in to aviation! Onya pyro

Enjoy while you can mate, because you won't be seeing much of that out in Kununnarra or Palmerston, where your first job will be

I'll upload some pics of 3 more unusual planes that I have encountered in the last few months on the weekend... should be a good distraction from sharp objects while I'm doing my IREX practice exams

Something look out of place in that pix,
Aeroplane, attractive young lady, church? Seems like a typical aviation scene to me Wal!

hey Dr what denomination Mooney is that?
Its a Mooney 205, Wal - 1987 model (I think!). How do turn a Mooney 201 into a 205? Ya rip the step off a 201 and throw it away - goes 205 mph instead of 201 mph!!!

Pick the link

There appears to be a link here somewhere.

#1 - red item in far right of photo - post #2811
#2 - ASI in photo - post #2800
#3 - "Post takeoff issues" referred to in PyroTeks youtube clip leading to 2nd landing

Who did the preflight?

ref: post #2679, the character 5th from the left & 5th from the right for a further piece of the puzzle

you see 'nivo' the Dr was trying to see if his bro's Mooney was faster than his own Bo so he wound the Mooney up & sent the needle right around the dial As for the red thing hanging from what appears to be the Pitot tube? well that's actually a deflated red ballon from the night befores church party, it's just lying there on the ground, then again it could have been a coloured proprolactic (not too sure on the spelling & I ain't gunna check either!), used of course, but then again it's a Catholic church right? Oh those Mooney boys, would you let yr daughter go to a church social with them?

p.s.........yes well spotted Nivo

Ha Ha Ha.... none of these goings on were mentioned on the day!!

I'd say embarrassment prevented any discussion of the matter.

Shouldn't laugh though, I've done it once myself... although very very early in my aviation life

Chuck.. tell me about this talking cigarette lighter. Surely you talk in jest.
Does it like.... tell you that its plugged in, or does it continually annnounce the supplied voltage ... or does it say that you should give up smoking?

Beachie

It talks alright.....weird when you first hear it

Part of the G496, even calls out your alt on approach.....500 feet the girly says! Tells you when power is lost etc too so if you unplug it by mistake or from vibration.

Damn loud that Garmin Chick, even with a noisy Bo and your DC's on you can still hear her.

I can see CW thinking just like any woman!!!!

Nivo now sussshhhhh before someone notices!
