Lets face it...the alternator karked it...who would dare suggest it had not earned a rest..prolly pumped more amps out than any 10 other IO520 alternators...prolly worked harder than the prototype did during certification 'testing to destruction'
Or maybe, as the good Doc transferred
pretty well the
entire nav suit (2 GPS' and a tablet-although I suspect there were more
) over to his brothers Mooney, the alternator felt it had been put out to pasture and died of a broken heart?
It just occurred to me- The Bonanza gets called a Boner so does that make the Mooney a Mooner or a Moaner?
