Yeah - that bloke looks awefully familiar... Hang on! I saw him just the other day at Hagan - he stepped out of an MBA Otter but he had a pilot's uniform on this time Only kidding Love the pic

I was once soundly reprimanded and berated in the Club Dero by a person previously mentioned in these pages (MF) for even thinking of describing that company in such a manner!

Bah that no challenge fer a Porter !
I was thinking with coffee prices what they are today the loads we carried in the Porter way back when would be worth $10000 a pop !
Much more than 15 fares

I know that picture Tinnie - that's the kitchen at the Talair Kagamuga Terminal!
Helly put on lunch for the crew everyday we had a fantastic cookboy who was ex Papuan Hotel had run away home to his Enga mob.
The only solid food i ate while in Hagen unless there were nibbles at the Hagen Park

The trendies would kill for a wood fired "Benzine 44" stove these days

And there aint to many of them about these days either. I had to use petrol from the boat bowser to get from Daru to Kerema once. Then I picked up half a drum that Talair had left behind. used a sample bucket from the refueler to decant it from the drum into the aircraft.
Almost the same as home but cost planty Kina.
