Notice on the Map behind the alcoholic fool that Transnistra is shown as part of Modova, not the other way round.

Regarding reports of the vehicles being trashed on the Ukrainian / Polish boarder by "Poles" and not being stopped by the Police.
This vehicle has a UK number plate and is taxed and insured here.

Perhaps to get a grip on this situation, the Polish Ambassador to the UK should be called in for an interview without coffee to show His Majesties displeasure.

Maybe just jealous of all those nice cars being given away?

Close. The Feds are tough; an inmate has to serve 85% of Federal time before parole will be considered, so about 9 years 4 months in the slammer for an 11 year sentence.

I don't follow you comment - a) I don't see Transnistria on the map, and b) it is part of Moldova

Yes, because there seeems to be one explosion rather than an initial one followed by a secondary. What is the reason for your questioning ?

The Ukrainians have apparently given the range of the Magura V5 as 800 km which obviously may/may not be true.. That apart, the drones could have been staged from a mother-ship, or those drilling-rigs off Odesa that they recaptured some months back

Macron urged allies not to be "cowards" and support Ukraine in the fight against Russian invasion

"We are undoubtedly approaching a moment for Europe when it is necessary not to be cowards. [...] War has returned to our lands," French President Emmanuel Macron said during a visit to Czechia.

“We are approaching a moment for Europe where we must not be cowardly. War has returned to our soil, the powers which have become unstoppable are expanding every day and threaten to attack us even more, we will have to live up to history and have the courage that it requires.”

The map shows the planned expansion come pipedream of Russia, except they have coloured in Transnistra the same colour as Moldova and not as part of the great pipedream. Hence by that map they have ceeded it back to Moldova.

Considering one of their goals was a land bridge to Transnistria and a joining it up to "Russia", they can't even get that right on the map

Are the Russians cloning their senior commanders?

That Mitsubishi almost certainly wasn't being given away, it's taxed until 1st December 2024.
If it was being given away the registered keeper would have got a refund of the tax it currently has on it.

With that license plate, it was probably first registered in Scotland.

The Ukrainian Embassy in Poland denied reports that Polish farmers had damaged Ukrainian military equipment, saying that the vehicles had been damaged before they arrived in Poland.

Peter, Nutty isn't rational on this topic, but rather quite emotional. I say this based on observing and reading about two years of Twitter-based coverage (and comments) that he's been providing to this thread.

Where were you two years ago, Monsieur Macron? Shuffling about with your hands in your pockets. :p

I can't be bothered to go back through all the posts but, wasn't he then not still trying to convince the NATO nations that he could make a deal with Putin? Who was the coward then?

I think that he overestimated his own abilities in persuasion, insofar as Mr Putin is concerned. (That's a charitable take).

He would have said"statesman", others would have said pushy and obnoxious pol' trying to annex the lead position in the Franco/German axis, then seen as the driving force behind the EU

Francis Tusa:

An absolutely perfect example of "The 1700km Duvet": UK is safe because Russia will have to come through the Baltic States, Finland, bits of Poland, cross the Baltic, parts of Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and THEN the North Sea. So we're SAFE!!!! Close to sacrificing Estonia.

Actually, do you know what this is? It's a "John Reid Moment". I know what John Reid meant to say, but the quote came out, "we hope not to fire a shot" in Afghanistan. Yeah, right. This is Grant Shapps making the same mistake: a comment made primarily for the domestic market but which might well backfire at home over the next years.

But if I were 🇪🇪, 🇱🇻, or 🇱🇹, I'd be SERIOUSLY worried about UK committment and capabilities. Ask why every Baltic State says a shooting war with 🇷🇺 is a probability…..

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/i...tary-bl33mth2t

Shapps said he did not see a need to start training British citizens in case of war. “Estonia are right on the border, at the front line essentially...The UK is an island; we’re not in that situation. Nor do we see an immediate danger of invasion.”

Germany is planning to return compulsory conscription to the army

According to Der Spiegel, the head of the German Defense Ministry, Boris Pistorius, has ordered the preparation of proposals to restore compulsory military service.

According to closed government documents cited by the publication, Pistorius intends to seek the return of conscription before the elections to the Bundestag, which will be held in the fall of 2025.

The relevant proposals, according to Pistorius' order, should be prepared by April 1.

Germany suspended compulsory military conscription in 2011 and switched to professional troops.
