Instead of skulking in the lecture theatre discussing gender and other modern issues, could you please have airfield and squadron personnel mow the grass, patch the tarmac and FIX MY PHANTOM! If you would be so good...

Sorry but I can't tell you what the FJ's smelt like because my nose is somewhat out of shape ATM

OR

Sorry, but as I get older my sense of smell has deteriorated a lot, and having a broken nose doesn't help!

Airfix judged as runner up, the diorama of the Spey Phantom. Winner was the Lancaster B Mk1 that was drooling real oil under the engines for realism.

McDonnell-Douglas was forced to recall several hundred F-4 AB Phantoms (code name Oat Eaters) for premature deployment of nose-mounted air bags.
