more delaying tactics.
One could incorrectly myopically view it that way. A better explanation is that splitting the packages means one package (Israeli aid) is more likely to get through simply because a good number of senators, politicians and influencers happen to be Jewish. Not so many of Ukraine's people are members of the US Congress.

Biden can see what would happen and is therefore saying he wants Ukraine aid to get through as well and the only way to do that is to make one a condition for the other else Ukraine will slip down the collective agenda.

This is therefore all the result of the Republicans blocking the full aid package by linking it to the Mexican border issues and MAGA rhetoric to buy votes for this year's elections.

New from the UAE and co developed by Ukraine, a stealthy sub that can carry troops and launch torpedoes, they do not know if Ukraine will be able to get access to them.... It looks like an updated version of Seaviews flying sub.

Wasn't a Russian missile warship being positioned in the Gulf to lend some support to Iran? Perhaps this submarine could carry out some early sea trials?

Says it all and so much for the we will do whatever it takes promise.

Zelenskyy: "Ukraine will not have a chance to win the war without the assistance of the United States. The artillery ratio on the front today is 1 to 10, and the aviation ratio is 1 to 30," he said in an interview with PBS.

Aviation content:
We appear to have missed this one, during a possible Ukrainian attack they hit a military Beriev BE-200 flying boat and blew the wing off it.

In the left image you can see how the intact Beriev Be-200 of the Russian Naval Aviation looks like. In the right one we can see that the part of the wing has been blown off (red arrow), the remains are lying on the tarmac. I think the under-wing float might be there too (blue).

The campaign in Africa is not going according to plan for Afrika Korps.

Now there's a phrase that wasn't on my bingo card for 2024

How sad, never mind.

NEW: The current US debate about providing additional military assistance to Ukraine is based in part on the assumption that the war will remain stalemated regardless of US actions.

That assumption is false. Russian advances will accelerate absent urgent American action. 🧵(1/8)
