Because you do not want to kill them, a wounded soldier takes on average three people to look after them, so by wounding them you are tying up manpower resources, Unlike in the field they can’t simply leave them to die where they dropped. Plus it ties up medical facilities.

It would appear that someone has torched the museum about the “SMO” in Russia, for the second time.

And evacuating civilians is best not done drunk.

Apart from a war crime and a shortage of missiles.

The USA has delivered a large quantity of captured weapons to Ukraine.

Now that's an artillery piece.
I recall the 8" gun being part of the order of battle during Cold War era. IIRC, that's what was able to fire nukes. (I don't think the 155's ever did).
The US Army still had some in the 90's.
That's some serious artillery. If Ukraine has some (they had/haver quite a bit of Soviet/Russian kit) who makes the shells?

The Turtle tank is now extinct. The Ukrainians geolocated it from the video the Russians posted of it in a barn type workshop and took it out. This is not the first time the Russians have given away location information via videos they have posted.

Russian media “Important Stories” found four new prisons where female prisoners are being recruited
Russia is now actively recruiting female prisoners to war in Ukraine. Especially people wIth medical training but others will do for assault units, naturally.
Also, there is no parole after six months. Apparently it is now conditional release after indefinite length of service. Takes no wizard to figure out that if they serve eg. one year and survive they'll either are forced to sign another contract or be sent back to prison.
So far no one has made it to the front but most likely it'll be just a matter of time before we see females in the meat grinder.
Note: the word "voinu" (war) is specifically used. Not the term SMO.

While Western leaders are gridlocked into useless debates, Russia is doing what Russia does: destroying.
As I said numerous times, you will never ever be able to make peace with Putin.
Until now, Kyiv, the most protected air space in Ukraine was able to stop much of the incoming Russian missiles.
That's no longer the case. With air defenses exhausted, Russians finally able to do what they want.
