Evenin' all - funny little thing, not sure if there is one in the Hiller Museum at San Mateo; if so I've seen it! Must have averted mine eyes...

Anyhow lots of goodies, here are just a few amongst many that tickled the right stuff...

Jesus, that’s the last time I land at Speke.

Let’s go and lift out that Chinook stuck in that muddy field. That'll wipe the smirk off their face's.

Right. Lesson one. Start peddling.
Well, this is as far as we got. The first magazine with parts was rather affordable, but then the costs skyrocketed!
Phew! Rough landing there Hoskins. By my reckoning, I’d suggest there’s at least four skid marks....

STS Aviation find discrepancies in the drawings to convert 737s into Wedgetails.
The USAF in further bids to prevent unauthorised Nose Art.

Oops ... done it again! Thanks for honour of temporarily getting to dust/polish the CST.

Please bear with me until the morning when I have access to my creaking old Mac. He has access to imagery, and plays a mean Bagpipe.

There is the single place Hiller Hornet at the museum. They tried to light it off at a helicopter gathering a few years ago. Very loud.

NOT A COMPETITION PICTURE.

Looking at the history of Hiller I was surprised to see that the one we commented on wasn’t apparently the most dodgy looking, the one man “Chinook” looked positively frightening.
