It was due to Rotor Growth - similar to Swept Wing growth when taxiing - Distance to the hangar varies between 4ft and 24ft every 90 degrees of rotation.
Hoskins was glad this type was not required to have a CVR or FDR . However the armchair quarterbacks on PPRuNe had it resolved within 24 hours. The AAIB report was just a cut and paste

At the Battle of Britain show the AAC felt they had covered all safety features so the visitors could see what it was like to sit in a helicopter. However had failed to reason that Hoskins was once a 7 year old child

"As I was allegedly taxying along the alleged taxiway, a black dog was seen to emerge from nowhere, and when I swerved to avoid hitting said black dog, I came into contact with an alleged stationary hangar which was travelling in the opposite direction. NFA, NCH."**
