The newly commissioned Cornwall weather simulator gave inner city holidaymakers the opportunity to avoid the A30 altogether.

While the reduced size of the Fleet Review DID mean the stretch of water required could be smaller, that one missed detail meant the planners were going to get a roasting on Monday morning.
