I hope it's not seen as bad form to put a caption up for one's own picture, but anyhowsers (?any hawsers?)...
"...an' then all sudden-like this Bint in a Biplane appears an' the skipper bellows "CRASH-DIVE!" an' we dive an' she crashes."

"I suppose we can say the Captain's latest good idea to amuse the troops is marginally more practical than last year's Motor Club and the previous year's Horse Racing."

Dear Mum, Thank you very much for the lovely birthday present. It was a bit of a squeeze, building it on my bunk, but I finished it and the Captain helped me try it out when we surfaced yesterday. Bill took a photo from the dinghy, but unfortunately wasn't able to row fast enough to retrieve the plane before it sank. The Captain says he really enjoyed it, and hopes you will send me another one for Christmas. Love, Jim xxx
P.S. There's another kit, called a "Typhoon". I'd really like one of those.

As exit polls show a landslide towards Brexit, the UK Border Force, previously thought to have sunk without trace, commences training off the coast of Kent.

So the plan is we sneak up behind a migrant boat, surface just enough to catch it in the shed, fully surface and return them back to whence they came, then use the catapult to launch them and their boat back onto the beach.
