I am delighted to accept the cheque for £1.000.000 however, I wish to donate it to the pprune home for infirm airmen. Infirm seamen should be wiped up quickly.

Recent Selection Tests requiring aspiring London Policemen to walk on hot coals has been reported as being in violation of HSE codes and will be suspended until proper procedures can be written.

The Boss's idea of doing the annual swimming test in fancy dress went down well with the lads.

No-one could quite understand why the nuns wore policeman's helmets when they went to the seaside for the day.
