A330 destinations

Could someone please list the A330 destinations, and which if any, are layovers.
Understand there are a lot of night turns on the A330.
Any reply much appreciated.
Thanks.

Hcezmas,

we have over 100 destinations, about 40 of them are 330/340 specific, about 15 both main fleet (B777) and airbus, and there are a few A380 routes.

The 330 fleet take most of the regional flying, and a lot of that is when the sun isn't up. The 340s have some Australia, some Europe, some Africa, some Far East.

The B777s have some Africa, lots of Australia, Most of Europe, most of the USA, all of South America, some Far East.

If you really want to know which equipment operates a specific route, download the timetable from the emirates.com website.

The above routings given can and does change regularly, the Marketing and Sceduling department is very pro-active, so will change the aircraft type on each route when necessary.

777 take home

So after all the hardwork, how much does a 777 fo take home pay in the end of the month? inclusive of all the allowance roughly. wonder if it's comparable to other airlines 777 gig.

Flyer,

for the time being, yes. But the 2500 itself was a change, so it may well change again. the 4000/2000 jet doesn't have a weight restriction, are you far off that?
Was not aware the 4000/2000 jet had no weight restriction!

But I am at 3000TT, with roughly 2760 CRJ time. So I only meet the 2500 jet, but the CRJ-200 weighs less than 30 tons.

The new FAA Flight/Duty/Rest rules are out for comment. When they will be in use (less than a year, max), the US airlines will need to hire more pilots, so it will stress EK and all the other overseas places that hire Americans even more.

Hello!

Can anyone tell me what to wear in the flight to Dubai?

The business attire? Or do you think it's ok to go with more casual clothe?

Thanks

flyingsaucer 11th Sep 2010 14:13

I attended the road shows and asked the HR people about the weight restriction as of one month ago you need to have time over 30 tons.
even if you have more than 4000 TT and more than 2000 hours efis jet.
I have more than 4000/2000 and I was told that i didnt meet the requirements as of yet but that hopefully they will have to lower them soon.

Other options?

Hi guys I have been following this thread for a while and was curious. If emirates is so bad who in the middle east would be a good airline to work for?

atpcliff 15th Sep 2010 01:10

Every ME airline has LOTS of pilots posting here about how their airline is THE worst airline on the planet. Many other airlines worldwide have a number of pilots posting the same thing about their own airline.

With so much negativity it is hard for us, the readers, to judge the relative situations at the various airlines.

While I agree that a lot of what is posted falls within the category of "emotional", a lot of specifics have also been posted. Specific violations of contractual language, reductions in terms and conditions and questionable hiring and firing practices to name a few. There is more than enough information here on all of the ME carriers for you to accurately judge how you will be treated. It's up to you to figure out how that compares to your present situation and whether you will be able to put up with it in the longer term.

Current up grade time in EK

Anybody knows what's the most current up grade time in Emirates would be?
Thanks

Nuuk 19th Sep 2010 05:51

RG, If you join today, I would count 6 to 8 years before an upgrade. Don't bet that EK will soften the upgrade criteria if they become short of skippers, bet more on DEC's, this in a very near future.
