In preparation for the ATPL questions.. Is it enough to read ACE or should i be studying other material also (such as JAA atpl question banks)? Is there any website that prepare you for the ATPL questions (i know there are few sites for the EK interview)

From what I could gather, my interview group was randomly given the same test .. They have several versions, a,b,c so you can't cheat but they said we could sit down at any seat that had a test. The prep from Latestpilotjobs had good information and definitely helps with what type of info to study. I also read ace the technical interview.
The interview was very comfortable and everything organized very well.
The technical test dealt with lot of altimetry questions and aerodynamics...

Hello my fellow aviators, I did the interview January 15th, got the good news March 21st and the offer letter April 24th. The offer was for F/O in the 320 fleet which is the one that I'm currently flying in my country. So happy about this opportunity and looking forward to be in Doha soon, just waiting for the joining date. Good luck to everybody, just wanted to share my experience with this the hole process, cheers

Dear all,

As you all know there is a massive expansion in QR, and they have come across a situation where successful candidates, training slots, fleet divisions (especially following the orders and future deliveries for A380, B787) has made the HR department to reschedule again all future plans. At the moment yes the A320 fleet is the most common one amongst new entries, however there will be a lot of surprises soon enough I trust on all other fleets. Therefore this delay does not mean necessarily that all of you will be assigned an A320 fleet.
As mentioned in this forum hundreds of time so far PATIENCE is the magic word for those who are willing to hold. After all this massive expansion does not happen every day and the planning that needs to be done before hand is too much for them.

Is there anyone here who had a DEC interview on April 12? We were told to expect a reply from HR within two to three weeks, but so far nothing. I really want this position and am willing to wait if it's just a matter of scheduling training, etc. If not, I'd like to know so I can move on to something else.

I was April 7th....most of us heard something last week. I am a subscriber to the theory if you make it greater than 2 weeks without bad news it is coming....but for us it was almost 4 weeks

How many of you made it from the April 7th interviews? Was that also for wide-body DEC (Captain)? Thanks in advance.

I was widebody Dec. I know one widebody fo and 2 narrowbody Dec's who all were positive. I know one widebody fo applicant who still hasn't heard.

I called the person in charge of the flight deck recruitement yesterda and she told me to be patient because it will last...More than 3months and I still have to wait more and more again!..

If someone got an job offer by QR after completing assessment, will QR contact with the applicant's current company to verify his status faked or not? Once the company is aware that we applied to other airlines, we will get in trouble.

Bad news you all, the NTSO might not come back again. So all of the region airlines is now fully closed for fresh walk-in graduates.

Yes thats true regarding CTC. they will be supplying.

But, those who have been short listed will definitely be called for assessment!

I got that info straight from the HR's mouth!!

I did call her and asked the same question --- "She said hopefully you will be called. But i cant say when."
Also, before they used to take people from Bahrain but they had people coming from outside. Now its CTC (guess Bahrain too) and there are still NTSOs being assessed.
So, if you have been shortlisted (as in asked to submit your FATPL and MCC) than hopefully InshAllah you will be called.
Thats what the current status is. But you never know things can go up and down very quickly here!!!!

Same for me!!! But you just got to wait. Nothing can be done!!!:ugh::ugh:
