Hey everyone,
Something seems to be the hold up in QR - I had two start dates cancelled, now left waiting in limbo. Emailed them multiple times - no reply. Quit my job to join and now left without a job and no joining date. No feedback from them either to keep one in the loop. Contemplating going back to the old gig. If they are short of crews and need pilots, they sure have a unique way of showing it

This has happened before…
If you can go back to your previous job do that and forget about qr…I’ve been in the ME for a while and they are notorious for doing exactly what they are doing to you, that would raise a huge red flag to me….

Welcome to the world of QR recruitment. Sorry to hear you learning the hard way but good that you have taken the time to post your story. The company is truly a vile organisation that has zero regard to the norms of life. For those “successful “to get into QR - use and abuse them. Get as much as you can with as little effort and get out as soon as you can.

QR recruitment is just that. A cluster and a half. Several guys from this side of the world had big enough problems from HR to withdraw applications and remain where they are in HK. Sounds like a problem stems from a certain Egyptian running the show without proper experience.

All this is a real worry reading TheColonel's experience. They need to show some kind of honest attitude with respect to recruitment, these stories make leaving a good job a very very risky venture to go to QR.

My colleague was to join QR on AIRBUS fleet as DEC, his DOJ was changed two times already, not too much, around 2-3 weeks each time, finally he received next DOJ for beginning of the April, one day before joing and reporting in Doha he got cancellation that DOJ and directed to the talent pool for nor specified time. Be careful when You guys deal with QR, not to put any thrust on them, they do whatever they want.
