As mentioned i also attempted to apply originally for the mentored aps mcc but was rejected- again no reply is to given as to why the rejection as in where did i fail on the exercise etc thus instead opted to do a mcc instead, from my original application and after completing the mcc it was literally 5 months difference and both time the online tests and exercises was the same, apart from some new atpl questions, again there have been others whom did not even get a reply from ryan air after uploading their docs as in the chance to do the assesment online, prior to the online test i was scoring in the high 80's / 90's on the various exercises on pilot assesment.
Honestly just generally gutted all my peers whom i studied alongside with all got into ryan air after finishing their training and i didn't.. just would be nice to get some feedback on where i went wrong/failed on etc..

The company is too busy to provide feedback for every individual.

I wouldnt get too bogged down. Keep busy and try other options. Failing that, try ryanair again in future. Attend a roadshow, give your name to the recruiter and try the test again.

Hi guys, quick question.

Do they give you some time to collect the money, if you succesfully pass their assesment?

In other words, could someone take a loan AFTER he passes the assesment?Or you have to present proof of having the 30k from the begining?

You need to transfer the money no later than 4 weeks before the start date of your TR.

Remember, during the HR interview they asked you if you have the money and you probably said yes so you have to have the money ready for transfer.

no proof is necessary since they assume you are honest to your future company when you answered “if you have the funds”

I haven't even applied for them yet.I'm just asking to understand how the whole thing works.

I guess there are a lot of people who would want to get a loan to fund their TR, after they would pass their assesment, and had an almost guaranteed job.

First of all during the HR interview they will ask you if you have the money. If you said you don’t, good chance you won’t get the job so be careful.

Another thing is, you know the requirements and you know it costs 30k when you apply for the job it is clearly says that you should apply only when you are 100% ready and meet the requirements which is licenses, citizenship, money etc…

You can request the loan from now and get it approved but do not ask for the money unless you are successful

Are they still recruiting after the news of the realigning of the projected forecast earning?

Of course! On average every 2nd Monday 3 classes of cadets start TR

Ryanair doesn’t hire for the short term. They have plan for 2034 and to achieve it they need a lot of pilots

On the Ryanair careers website it mentions that sponsorship for UK visas is available for those looking to be based in the UK. It does not say the same for openings in Europe. Does anyone know if Visa sponsorship is available for Type Rated UK Captains looking to move to Spain?

Not available. You need to have the right to live and work in EU. Also, the sponsor visa for UK bases is for European citizen who got UK contract

Its been more than a month since AFA said they would send me the link for the online assessment when the company advises another assessment ( I failed the first attempt and emailed then saying that I wanted to try again). Anyone knows how long it usually takes for them to send the link?

Carlos0 14th Feb 2024 18:25

No, I received that email but saying that I could try again in two months by replying to that email. After two months I sent them an email saying that I wanted to try again and still waiting for the answer.

Dear All,
Good Evening!

I looked and filtered the best I could all these 89 pages of feedback, i gathered very valuable info (thank you all), although as I deepened into the caveats of the interviewing process, I was unable to find an important detail.
Regarding AON online assessment, are there differences between Cadet and Experienced FO?

I read in Telegram forum there are certainly differences between Captains/FO, although feedback given by Captain.

Any Cadets and FO's that recently did assessment able to give an answer?

Thank in advance
Fly Safe
