Yeah on the same boat it is at least a year now. Not looking great. Maybe it's a bit hopeless for me 🥲

You received an email saying that when the airline advises another assessment they will contact you ?

I know few people that’s failed and waited for about a year for retake

kw737 21st Feb 2024 10:46

I failed 1.5 years ago and I'm still waiting. As far as I know, RYR now gives priority to new cadets. They told me that if they are still interested, they will call and all I can do is wait and keep my profile updated.

Remember, during the HR interview they asked you if you have the money and you probably said yes so you have to have the money ready for transfer.

no proof is necessary since they assume you are honest to your future company when you answered “if you have the funds”

Hello,
Do you need to transfer all 30k in one payment or you can pay it off im separate payments? Thanks

What's the consensus on the best website to prepare for a Ryanair's Mentored Scheme assessment process? Latestpilotjobs? Pilot assessment?

Used PilotAssessments.com myself and can highly recommend it!

Very realistic preparation and tons of feedback reports in their forum :)

Hello everyone. It’s been a pleasure to read you all every time I’ve had a doubt. I applied some weeks ago to a cadet position. Finished online pre-assessment on Sunday, and got this answer today:

We regret to inform you that your online pre-assessment was unsuccessful.
Due to the large number of applicants, the airline is unable to provide you with individual feedback.
It is not possible for us to reply to enquiries requesting additional information.
In one month's time (1) from the date you receive this email, you would be welcome to contact us by replying to this email if you would like another opportunity for an online pre-assessment (subject to the requirements of the business at the prevailing time and subject to the airline's approval at the time).

Is/was anyone in the same situation?. At least they give me the chance to reapply. I don’t know what could be the problem (test, video interview…). Am I supossed to wait one month, reapply and get another invitation, just like that?. It would be awesome hear from somebody who has gone through the same situation. Thank you all. Regards.

If you could share your profile it would be helpful. Age, hours, aviation and non aviation qualifications and what entry point you were applying for. Aps MCC, type-rating or whatever

Sure!. I applied three years ago. Passed the online pre-assessment and was given a date in Dublin, but I has to cancel it because of financial reasons, not for failing any stage. They told me sorry to hear that...bla bla... reapply when ready. I did some weeks ago. Got the invitation email and finished all the online tasks on Sunday. Today I've received that email saying unsuccessful, but at least they're saying I can reapply just in one month time. And I will.
35 years old.
Flight time: 230h.
MCC (in A320), JOC, UPRT done.
I applied for type rating.

When you say “I applied for type rating” you meant AFA cadet right?

I’m sorry. Yes

struggling my mind for all this 24 hours since I received the email, I have come to the conclusion that it’s been because of failing a liiiittle bit on all the tasks. If I start with a 100%, failing would substract some points/percentage… whatever. And so my final results may have lowered too much from the required minimum. If it has not been that, I don’t know what.

Arena_33 2nd Mar 2024 16:36

Are the video interviews looked at by a real person or is it graded by AI do you know?

bigggan 3rd Mar 2024 09:05

Dissapointing after more then a year waiting for a reply i got an rejection mail recently, my profile is still active and wondering if i should still try to keep it up to date.

Richard_ 3rd Mar 2024 12:41
