You got a rejection email one year ago saying that you could reapply in one month?, or what did it exactly say?

Hello everyone. It’s been a pleasure to read you all every time I’ve had a doubt. I applied some weeks ago to a cadet position. Finished online pre-assessment on Sunday, and got this answer today:

We regret to inform you that your online pre-assessment was unsuccessful.
Due to the large number of applicants, the airline is unable to provide you with individual feedback.
It is not possible for us to reply to enquiries requesting additional information.
In one month's time (1) from the date you receive this email, you would be welcome to contact us by replying to this email if you would like another opportunity for an online pre-assessment (subject to the requirements of the business at the prevailing time and subject to the airline's approval at the time).

Is/was anyone in the same situation?. At least they give me the chance to reapply. I don’t know what could be the problem (test, video interview…). Am I supossed to wait one month, reapply and get another invitation, just like that?. It would be awesome hear from somebody who has gone through the same situation. Thank you all. Regards.

I had the same answer but instead of one month was two. Its been almost two months since I replied to their email saying that I wanted to try again and nothing so far.

bigggan So strange .. its due to age or ? what do you think could be root-cause of rejection ?

Shouldn’t be the reason. My colleague is 35 and has 180 hours.

Just out of curiosity, how long did you guy have to wait before Ryanair call you guys up again after you flopped the first interview? I'm waiting on excess of a year now. maybe creeping into maybe 2 years . I lost track. Are they even hiring? Seems very quiet at the moment.

They are hiring a lot absolutely. If failed once it is not guaranteed they will call you again. Apply to other airlines

Currently 50% of the cadets hired went to their mentored programme. Their plans are to get the number to 100% in 2/3 years time. I don't see why they would call people again unless you were close to passing the assessment in Dublin. There are an abundance amount of cadets looking for their first job. APS/MCC applicants are not as rare is it used to be few years back.... The line is long. I don't think current situation will change until they will get more aircrafts, which is hard to predict when because of Boeings delivery problems.

Yeah, I suspect it's going to be that. I think I'm going to have to do the APS MCC in Dublin soon. Not another MCC again. :} I was hoping the max problem was a small blimp but I guess that is wishful thinking. I'm surprised that there is an "abundance amount of cadets" given the climate and cost of living. I missed the judged situation.

Nothing related to the delay of the 8200.
There is shortage of LTC which mean it takes time to the company to assign you for LT. They take action to solve this anyway

A320LGW 17th Mar 2024 01:25

There is a very slight reduction in the lines of flying due to the MAX delivery delays. I don't think this will affect recruitment however because of the amount who have left.

Hi all.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the application and assessment for the Ryanair mentored APS with AFA.
Thanks.

Is it possible to apply for their mentored programme after failing? To my understanding its not

To your understanding? Source?

I correct myself, I assume that it's not possible. My assumption is based on the low odds of Ryanair approving the mentored programme application if the candidate was unsuccessful. In addition, there are many who get rejected from the mentored course already during the application process. Unless this changed after they increased the amount of courses available. Technically you are buying yourself a second chance by doing so in my opinion. I wish you the best of luck! Let us know if you choose to apply.
Edit: This was in no way meant to be condescending, my apologize if it sound like that
