Then dont! But rather then coming out all smart get some facts out instead!

When it comes to their FOs, their pay under ew agreement is top scale.
a Ryanair pilot earns 18€K more then a so called legacy airline Aerlingus!
Unless you come out with a solid proof to prove me otherwise, stay bitter wherever you are:)

how long this might last I don’t know, theres talks of a further increase too, but who knows

A320LGW 26th May 2023 17:39

The ryanair pay can be good as a contractor but let's get some context in.

An aer lingus pilot has a 21% company pension and a multitude of other benefits. As a ryanair contractor you've to draw your own pension, pay your own insurances, accountants and everything else. All things considered it isn't really 18k more.

Same! Any info regarding DEC for ICAO license?

pedrothepilot 29th May 2023 10:52

Anyone know if they still have a training bond for Direct Entry Experienced FO's (NON type rated). I read previously here that UK AOC has no bond, but Ryan Air EU still does require bond/30K upfront or something.

Anyone know what they are offering these days for guys with +1500 narrow body jet time

The assessment takes only one day, if you are successful you will be notified and given a start date for type rating. Your notice period is the earliest when you can start the type rating. Since you practically can't keep working during the type rating, unless you wanted to but that's up to you to manage your time.

Contact Approach 29th May 2023 16:55

Is there anyone left at ryr these days? Last I heard everyone’s leaving!

Aperture 30th May 2023 07:56

Hi all,

I just received a mail to say I was unsuccessful for the online assessment. I'm totally disappointed because we have no feedback and we absolutely don't know what are the criteria of selection. I thought I did well on the psychometric tests, maybe one or two that were not that perfect ? Especially the monitoring balls that I find difficult, and the inductive or deductive where I didn't find the last ones....but some others I'm pretty sure I got 100%. The ATPL test was fine and the video interview, I guessed too. It's so hard to be in this situation, especially when I have the feeling I'm the only one....

hyp 30th May 2023 08:38

You're not alone. There's simply too many pilots available for them to choose from.
Wait for the better times ;)

And look at the bright side - you just won 30k EUR (that you don't have to pay for the TR)

Hi, sorry to hear that. DOn't worry you are not alone. You can try again in a few months from what I've heard.
Btw, can you pls provide time frames for your assessment process? When did you finish the online assessment and how long have you been waiting?
I am already in my third week of having finished the oline assessment without any email from RYR whatsoever, be it positive ort negative....

Thanks guys for your support, it's terrible not to have any feedback. I'm just thinking I'm gonna do the same next time because I don't know where I can progress.
I applied end of November 2022. I received invitation for online assessments last week. I did the online assessment 2 days ago. Received today the answer.
Well it's better to have no answer rather than a negative one lol

romeo.delta 30th May 2023 12:21

Haha, sometimes not knowing is the worst.
Don't despair, keep doing your best. Apply to different airlines, practice ATPL knowledge and if you try RYR again buy a pilotassessments.com subscription if you haven't already. It is good. Good luck.

May I ask how old are you and whether you have an APS MCC?

Aperture 31st May 2023 15:34

I did all what you are saying lol.
I'm 28 and I have APS MCC
