Hey guys, after the Line training but before the 500 hours is the contract still with AFA? And do you know where and how muc taxes are paid? Ive heard that ater line training you go to 24k/year plus 18/hour? Is that correct and any idea how much that is net pay?

Sim assessment date
Hi everyone!
Does anyone know what are the consequences of not being available to attend to the sim assessment date?? Do they offer another date or the application is being deleted? |
Thanks man, regarding the country in which you pay taxes do you know if the contract is Irish until you have 500 hours or do you start paying taxes at the country of base immediately after line training

It depends what contract you get post training. If you are given a directly employed contract you cannot claim the TR back. If you are given a self employed contract you can deduct the TR from your tax bill.

I would like to hear feedbacks regarding Ryanair tech exam during the TR. How is the exam? What is best way to prepare for it? Is it doable to be able to pass the exam in just 2 weeks of self studying? |

i got my license in the last few months of 2022 I applied in early December and uploaded all documents. They emailed me a link to the online assessment same evening and I paid €60 for it. I did it few days later and then I got invited to sim in Dublin in mid Jan. I did 4 hour sim prep at Upilot at Dublin. Good place, but the sim is not accurate to the real sim. The trim did not work when I was there. But they help you lot with theory as well. I did the assesment/interview. My HR/tech interview was surprisingly short, around 8 minutes. that kind made me feel bad, as I thought I might have put them off and they were not interested in me. I later googled and felt better as it said it might be because they already know all they needed to know, so no point continuing further. then came the sim assesment. PF and PM, not Liverpool Pol4T SID. All good. then steep turns. then emergnecy and Radar vectored ILS back at Liverpool. Flew the ILS like a champ. no go around. Top tip: know the pitch and power settings at 60 tons, and it really is price of cake. few days later I got the good news. for emergency one of us had fwd cargo fire the other had passenger with health emergency Use T DODAR or similar. Show CRM, always talk and communicate with partner. it’s really chilled environment. They do really make you feel comfortable. Just be yourself guys. Dress up smart. You will meet other cadets all over Europe. all the best guys. |
hi guy just some info about me 28 yr and just a cadet couldn't find a job. did my type rating on the 737NG and looking to apply to Ryan Air could anyone help me out please by providing some info as I am trying to prepare myself for the interview? like theory will they also ask a lot of the 737NG questions and what to expect could anyone please help I tend to get nervous in interviews as it is my second time and do not want to fail it.

You've no hope in Ryanair unless you do the Type rating again , there are minimum hour requirements for type rated FOs and even then they need to be running OCC courses
