But these donuts have one of the best salaries currently on offer, so if you are contractor, this works highly in your favour providing you have 30€K!
But as things are starting look alot like 2017 I can see 30K soon being done away with |
Direct entry first officer
Hello! Anyone could tell me how is the assessment for a direct entry (type rated) first officer please? Thank you!
|
Hello,
My friend got the following question during his interview: Why Ryanair has only 197 passengers and not 200 on the 737-8200 (MAX) Anyone have an idea? I thought its about cabin crew but its not since 4 cabin crew is still okay for 200 pax. |
Wrote bs. |
How come?
1 flight attended for very 50 passengers. 4 flight attendants = 200 passengers so having 200 pax or 197 pax won’t change the amount of cabin crew as it above 150 passengers but below 201 5 flight attendants = 201 passengers what am I missing here? |
You're right, I think it may be because of the available seat config proposed by Boeing.

So the answer to why Ryanair choose 197 and not 200 passengers is avoid adding additional cabin crew and keep the aircraft with 4 cabin crew as the NGs. |
Can't be that, cc number is based on the number of seats.
|
Nonsense.
CC is based on passenger SEATS |
This answer came from Ryanair pilots

Hi, I´ve found this:
"Ryanair says it will only (“only”!) cram in 197 passengers on the aircraft, rather than the full 200. The airline says it wants to avoid dropping to 29” of seat pitch — it currently offers 30” in its standard seats." |
I think it might be 199, not 200. Anyway the answer is there are 2 seats reserved for supernumerary cabin crew.
You'll often have 6 cabin crew with a mix of supernumeraries and regular crew. |

If you check EASA regulations you will see it is quite clearly 1 CC per 50 seats. Why Ryanair have 197 is up to them. Why not ask MOL |
Hello everyone,
I just received the mail to do the online assessment (after 6 months waiting, don't despair!). I would like to know how the payment is made. Because I know that during the week ends, the payment transfers are blocked and delayed with my bank, until a working day. I planned to pay on Friday in order to have some time to prepare the assessment, so do you think I will be able to do the online assessments from this day, there won't be any delay for the payment? Thanks for your help |

Thanks for your reply! I would actually like to do it during the week end, but in the mail it says, from the instant you pay, you have 3 days to complete the assessments right ? So if I pay on Friday morning, will I have 3 days from friday morning, or 3 days from the instant I get access to the assessments (so maybe from saturday if there is some waiting time between the payment and the actual access to the assessments?)
