Is there anyone applying to Ryanair that is British? Far as I'm aware they are shipping in EU pilot in their UK base to replace the British pilots that left for other airline. Not too sure what's going on internally. Is it still the 30k for the TR? For the one that flop the assessment, do you have to do Ryanair APS MCC for the second chance? If you do the Maths, the TR + Ryanair APS MCC is like pretty same as some of the pay to fly scheme with permeant employment contract. Kind a makes you wonder. Big gamble to spend 6k aps mcc for a chance in Ryanair and not a guarantee job.

TR is still 30k
If you have APS why would you need to do it again? Having Ryanair mentored APS MCC is not mandatory. It does help but also non-mentored APS is fine. If you don’t have MCC at all I will definitely recommend the mentored APS MCC

I have a British passport, applied in January, never heard back from them.
There’s articles saying they’re after Brazilian pilots to operate throughout Europe.

APS MCC mentored on B737 MAX

Hello guys,

I finished my APS MCC Ryanair mentored program and all my APS MCC course was done on the B737 MAX. I heard that the Ryanair sim assessment is done on the NG.

I have an option to do sim prep at the same place I did my APS MCC mentored which is great. However, it’s done on the MAX. Do you think it is fine to do the preparation on the MAX but do the assessment on the NG? (I have 45 hours simulator time on B737 MAX at the moment)

Hi!
Anyone else here invited for the RYR Dublin interview and sim assessment the 26th of June 2023?

Passed my online assessment 30th, got the email confirming it the same day.

Well, I don't have APS MCC. Only MCC. A bit overkill for one job to do APS MCC and my bank account cant stomach that gamble. The EU market feels a bit saturated with people with the buying power for TR. I don't think Europe will ever have a US contract where the employer pays for the training without a salary deduction.. Kinda sad truth.

Hey do you mind sending me the link

That's crazy isn't?

It is pretty common that positions need to be advertised publicly. Let’s see who gets appointed.

It's the whole point of Ryanair is the career development for a pilot. Kind odd. I guess there is a glass ceiling. Albeit still a high ceiling
