Don't worry, this has nothing to do with your age, I'm 21 and I'm in the same situation than you ! I really don't understand which Ryanair doesn't hire french pilot since more than 6 months...

I have heard they have hired a lot of mentored French pilots

Hi guys,

do you know after successful online assessment completion how long will it take to get the email to go to Dublin for the sim? I’ve already got their email 2 weeks ago that I successfully completed online assessment and wait for the sim.
thank you

Hey all,

Preparing for my upcoming AON assessment using PASS pilotassessments.com. Does anyone have any advice regarding the ATPL theory questions, should I only use PASS or would you recommend other study as well?

Thanks!

I would recommend doing a bit extra study for the ATPL theory questions.
Many of the questions I had were not covered on pilotassessments.com.

The IR needs to be valid ONLY for the assessment day. After that it can be expired but the type rating must be started within 12 months of the IR expiring.

For what I read in the forum on pilotassessments.com, I can see that about 70% is covered by their questions.

Of course it’s best to always do additional study just to be sure.

Did you guys have to do any calculations or plotting during the RYR ATPL online test?
IMO it'd be very difficult to do so in 10mins and 30 questions

I did not had any calculation questions, also my buddies had no questions with plotting etc. There may be some conversion question like feet to meter.

Only very basic conversions like units and speeds/distance/times.
It is also multi choice.

Hi everyone, I've applied 7 months ago but haven't heard anything back from Ryanair. Is anyone in a similar situation?

Hey guys,
I was told that Ryanair offers a free flight to Dublin for a simulator assessment. However, I can't find such info anywhere on their website.
Do you have any experience in that topic?

Yes, in the email they send confirming the Dublin assessment they send a duty travel booking website, so you can get return tickets back to any destination Ryanair flies to.
