Hydro AirBridge are operating for Volga Depnr to Ost. Mk has two aircraft operating MKEA & MKBA with MKJA in C Check & MKHA waiting to be worked on a C check in MAS. try to verify your facts before making sweeping statments that a company has no frames left

What about MKLA surely thats not due for a "C Check" is it still under arrest?
I cant see anyone taking any of their equipment in for maintenance without some upfront funds?
Sorry if I'm stating the obvious. Dont shoot the messenger!

Indeed the birds are back, looks to me they fly a lot "ad hoc" these days, and not according to the sked's presented earlier. Losing to competitors? Fuel price? Technical problems...? Or just lack of trust and capital.
BTW was watching the "wet sock's smell in the cockpit"- documentary on Dutch TV yesterday, "the best kept secret in aviation". One can watch on line:
Afleveringen: ZEMBLA (partly in English)
I remember an incident on the 26th of Oct '06, an MK freighter had to make an emergency landing after take of at OST due to gas in the cockpit. Wet socks air or a leaking load?

ALX701 from EBOS-HLLM is latest and probably last flight plan. Not even flying under the "Big Ben" call sign. Sounds like MK is making the "death rattle". Too bad for the good folk still hanging on to the sinking ship...

Lambshank,
I read this forum as often as I can, I can not wait for the day to read something positive that you have to say!! It is posts from people like you who undermine any confidence that clients have in an airline.

Well said Zimoke, Lambshank is obviously in the know as he seems to be the first person to get all the info on MK. As for the FIH callsign of ALX that callsign has always been used for FIH. Strange how that is MK's last flight when there is an aircraft sitting in Ost ready to depart.
Lambshank I hope you are wrong for all the people involved with MK & statments like yours do nothing to help them.

Mka // Bgb
I have heard that they are doing flights in to Africa. Plus I know full well that they have recently done plenty of flights; Ex. OST//LUX into DXB and on to MFM.
They have some great guys in the UK and it would be extremely sad to see any more trouble for the staff there.

I really wonder what the point of Lambshank is. Despite this forum having little or no value in the real world one should have one's facts straight before blabbing off in such an irresponsible manner.
The Landhurst people work incredibly hard and deserve more and, no, MK are not about to stop flying or go bankrupt. Any such suggestion is a direct threat to their very livelyhoods.
Maybe Lambshank should re-consider the spelling of his name.

MK Info
MK aircraft are also being seen regularly at Manston. So far this February G-MKBA has visited 5 times and G-MKEA 3 times. Don't know where from/to.
