[quote=FIEVAL;2827805]Hi there,

Nice to hear from another person that went to the Auckland Open Day 19th August I made it thru to the last 11 and I am also awaiting final results. This forum is so crazy its amazing how many different points of views and experiences you get from the different people. I have also kept in contact with some of the girls in the final 11 they are too waiting around to hear something, I am guessing that they are holding us to the whole 6 week thing...either way it would be good to have a result weather it good or bad soon.

Well good luck to you and keep in touch, let me know how you go [/quote

Hi there,

I just receive a call today asking me to get the medical check!! I'll be busy getting all the medical check done next week...
Good luck to you, too.

Sending Results

Hey guys, do we need to send our medical results by fax? Or can it be done by scanning and emailing them to them?

Thanks!

Hi Wwilko!!I have a friend who joined EK last year and the rosters are computer generated so you get both long haul and shorthaul flights-thats according to my buddy. One day you cld be flying to Perth and then you do a flight to say Qatar.

Hi there,

Ive been here in Dubai since June, finished my training & graduated last month. Your first two flights (known as 'Supy's) are turnaround (you go and come back on the same day) and it is so you can become familiar with on board procedures, equipment locations and the like. My first layover was to Frankfurt and I just came home from Glasgow. You will get a mix of turnarounds and long distance flights each monthly roster (but you have the ability to swap trips if you feel like it...) I have Karachi in two days (short flight) then Casablanca...all generated by computer

Hope that answers your question.

29th Sept fly-outs

what a great forum this is! Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I have just been accepted into EK and flying out on 29th Sept from Syd. Is anyone else on here doing that?

I would also like to give a big hello to Elivassileva! You are flying out the same day as me from your home so I assume we will be in training school together?

Please Help me..

Hey guys… this is a recent ad published in one of the local newspapers here in dubai. It says:

“If you are looking for an international career as part of a winning team, please submit your updated CV along with passport size and full length photographs at the Career Centre, Emirates Group Headquarters, Dubai. Female candidates with eligible visa may apply between 4.00 pm and 5.00 pm on the 10th and 11th of September at the Career Centre. To apply online please visit emiratesgroupcareers.com. Suitable candidates will be short listed and contacted for the selection process.”

Now, can someone tell me if this is an invitation for an open day? If yes y wud they say that suitable candidates wud be contacted later? Does it look like an open day? Do v have to wear Skirts suits n go wit necessary documents, CV, etc… just like an interview? Or is it just a call to submit CVs? I’m asking this because I wouldn’t be here in Dubai for a week… as I’m to fly to my native tday evening. If this is just to submit our CV’s…, then I could probably arrange for a friend to drop in my CV at the specified time. Can someone please help me out????? Or does ne1 know whom I sud contact?

If it is an open day invitation, is any one in this forum planning to attend?
