ha ha ha, possible, mind you the whole day merged into one. The jumpseat is fine - i'm 6ft and 13 stone and had no probs at all. You have to adopt the brace position as well, basically head back, feet back with heels on the floor and arm closed across the face - you'll be fine! good luck as well, have lots of examples of customer service scenarios available and you'll be fine

A phone call...
Well, I had the phone call today, for my interview in 3 days time.
It was wierd though - I was on the phone to BA recruitment to check they had my application and they say yes, they would get back to me in 10 days or so. Then, whilst I was on that call, I had another incoming call, which was BA Recruitment, offering me an interview! How bizarre!

Crew interview - the order of the day..
I had the pleasure of attending my BA Air Cabin Crew interview today. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I had a fun morning...(never thought I'd say an interview was fun!)
So, my interview was at 8.30am. We were asked to arrive at 8am so they had time to check over our paperwork first.
There were eight of us in my group, me and one other guy, plus 6 ladies. BA did an introduction to us at about 8.45am, then measured us and made sure we could fit into a modified Concorde jumpseat. I was happy that I could, because I've worked really hard and lost three stone before applying for the job. By the way, you stand on weighing scales, but they're switched off and you only stand on them because the height measure is attached to the back of them. You do NOT get weighed at BA anymore.
We waited until around 9am, when 4 people were called out for their 2-on-1 interview and the other four of us participated in the group activity, which was really quite enjoyable. They're just looking for people that aren't too overpowering and dominant within a group, but are willing to speak up as well. I guess neither too passive nor aggressive.
After the group thing, the four of us trooped back to the waiting area to wait until 10am, when we'd be called for our 2-1 interviews. I quite enjoyed mine, but it was pretty intense - you have to be prepared with loads and loads of examples..not just two or three..more like 8-10, at least. My interview lasted 45 minutes, which was quite long really, then I went back to the waiting area and chilled for a bit. At 11am, a Eurofleet purser took the 8 of us into a room and gave us the lowdown on the job...the good points, the bad points..it was the reality check, pretty much. We were finished at 12 noon.
So, now, I just have to wait....we should get some results within the next 5 working days.
Oh, finally, I have to say, BA are extremely professional about their interviews. If you relax and be yourself, you'll enjoy your day.

Good Luck!
Hi there
I bet you're really glad its all over today!!! I thought they weighed us.... but yeh your right... i dont think they were turned on at my interview... i just stood on it for the height thing.
you should hear pretty soon if you got the job. I got the Long A4 envelope 2 days after my interview. I think the waiting is worse than the nervousness before the assessment day!!!
Good luck and let us know when you hear anything!

sebichoo, you will start on eurofleet either at LHR or poss LGW. There is a fleet transfer list that opens once a year. Transfers are done purely on seniority.
Obviously LHR world wide is the popular option, so patience is important.
Good luck all who have applied, you will enjoy it at BA. Have been around for 12 years and am a CSD on world wide. The best laughs I've ever had.
ps. Do a bit of SEP training as well, which is really good fun, but a bit intense.

I was wondering if someone could help me, my wife did the interview for Eurofleet LHR in December and got an acceptance letter within a week or so, stating that she would have to wait for a course date.
Is there anyone out there who did the interview around Dec/Jan who has a start date.
All the best, Rgds SMOC

thomas_monarchcrew,
Could you tell me how much notice your friend was given as my wife gave a preference for a June course date so she could have more time to relocate. She was told to expect a course in April, May or June some time ago.
I'm hoping the June course/s have not been given notice yet, and possibly expect to hear in late April early May for June, assuming 4-6 weeks notice?
Thanks for the reply.
