Simon.......do we know each other???

If you are who I think you are, as I offered many times, why don't you come and spend some time here with me! You can use my house as a base and practice your english as much as you like!! You'll get home-made food as well :P

I have to say though that your written English is extremely good, many English people I know (even BA crews) wouldn't even dream to spell the way you do, and let's not think of their grammar!!!
CHIN UP my friend. Try again, I am sure they'll soon realise how good you are!!!

Love

FBW

Hi Simon,
I attended Wed 19th at 10.30...There were a range of nationalities there.Spanish,French,Australian and the rest were English.I have been put on a wait list and not sure when I will be starting.
I hope you realise that not many applicants even reach the interview stage, so alone this is an acheivement.
As I said English is my first language, not sure what yours is but send me to an Interview with Iberian,Air France etc and they would laugh at me.So a credit to you.
Please persue your dream....Dont give up.
Go for Virgin, you may be exactly what they are looking for.
Good Luck....Let me know how you go.
Bidan

Desperate to know,
I attended the 10.30am session on Wed 18th May...I was the Aussie...Great group of applicants,I got lucky and have been advised I am on the wait list...
Would love to know if any of my buddies from the group made it through also.\'
Really excited!!!
Also anyone know how long you are on the wait list before a start date is offered...Applied for Eurofleet LHR??

FBW!!!!
HELLOOOO!
DA-DAAAA ... Yes....It's me!
how are you?
Thank you so much for your offer because to spend a few days before any interviews would so-sooo good to be more confident!
I hope to hear from you before your E-day at the end of May.

Are you packing your Louis' trunk, are you warming the engines of your Learjet up to fly to "one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world???"

KISSES

Simon

Simon, my darling....
You know me quite well, I am a 777 girl, no learjets just yet, we like them big!!

You must come and stay here for a while. Maybe do one season in GB to master the language. Stay here, feel at home, we'll take it in turns for the big bed

I have just received an email from my E-lover and he's coming to see me the day before my E-day....Fantastic!! I'll either be very strong and ready for the big day or completely worn out!!!!

Call me sweetie. And don't let a failure bring you down. I need you to be strong. I am sure you will do great next time.
And as for Virgin...it's the same as 2 years ago. But I thought you turned them down last time?

Hugs...

FBW

BA Interview Slot Availability

Hi

I've been invited for interview with BA for LHR Eurofleet, but when I logged on to the BA Jobs site it said that there were no available slots for the assessment day at the moment. Does anyone know when the next slots will be available?

Thanks.

Hi Bidan

Hope I can answer some of your questions about Eurofleet. We do a variety of routes on the 767 ranging from Athens, Moscow, Larnaca and Istanbul (our longest flights) to busy shorter routes such as Barcelona, Nice, Rome and Frankfurt. I tend to be on the airbus which I prefer as I was always on the 767's at my previous airline.

There is a mixture of day trips and night stops and you can bid for your preference using our roster bidding system. I put 3 day trips as my top bid and tend to get 2-3 trips a month with the rest of my roster being there and backs.

Our allowances are triggered at specific times so therefore depending on what time you are working certain allowances will be triggered eg. you need to start at 0730am or before to get breakfast. They will explain our allowances in more detail on your training course.

The longest sector we operate would probably be Larnaca (it is a nightsop so therefore the longest day would be a day trip such as Athens or Moscow). We are also doing Tel Aviv trips on the 767 in June and July under the longhaul agreement.

Hope this helps!
Good Luck with your training!

Hey Guys

Does anybody know how long it usually takes to get an interview date (or not!) with BA. I got my automated ''Thanks for your application - we'll be in touch'' email a few days ago on Tuesday 30th May.

I cant bear checking my emails every three minutes!

Here some of the questions they will ask. Be prepared to answer them

Why do you want to work for BA?

What skills do you think Cabin Cabin Crew require?

Give examples of:

A cultural/ethnic scenario

Excellent customer service

A situation which made you unhappy

A situation where you worked under pressure

A situation where you had to deal with change

A situation where you had to deal with negative feedback/criticism

What qualities are important for effective team working

Be prepared to talk about how these situations made you feel.
They want very detail answers

Dont be nervous while you are on the 2-2-1. I found it quite relaxing. I was prepared for the questions they asked. When you on the interview, make sure that you make eye contact with both of them, keep smiling and focus yours answers on the team work. Make sure you find out about the ground services that BA have. They will ask about that. (What do you know about BA services or products ?)

Team exercise :
Participate, dont be bossy, make sure that everyone is taking part, dont make decisions without consulting everyone. Remember that it is not important to finish the task they gave you . They are looking of how you interact and work on a team.

Well, i hope this will help. It did helped me alot and I was sucessful.

Good luck and let me know how the interview went. when is your interview ?

UK Accomodation

Hello

Just wondering if anyone would know of accomodation located close to Cranebank as I am commencing training with British Airways. Looking for approximately 6 weeks only, have checked out the Hotels in the area, however, too expensive.

Thanks

Cheers

Any B.A Crew

Can any of you guys share info re..World Wide Gatwick and what do you think the chances of B.A offering me this are although I applied for and told I will be Eurofleet LHR with a chance I may be required for WW Gatwick ??
Lots of info on this thread about Eurofleet Gatwick but very little about World Wide.
Would like to know what I am getting myself in for should the World Wide thing happen
Would B.A advise me before training or once it has commenced?
Any info PLEASE!!!

On the course

Hi

I think You will be told on day one of your training course, in 2 months time.

It has happened to several of my friends. Some even relocated to Heathrow all geared up for Eurofleet, only to be told at the last min (on day one) they were WorldWide Gatwick!

I just hope my training course on Monday will be Eurofleet and that they wont send us down to LGW!

All you can do is sit tight for a few months
