Thats great news Cocoana... I was at the AD 15th July, one day after you so I think I may have just missed the boat for this years training but fingers are crossed that I haven't... Still need to receive "medical email" and that clearly takes time to process etc so I really think it will be next year for me and people that attended AD's after 14th July in Melbourne... Well done again, you must be super excited...

Well done, Cocoana!! We all sure know how badly you want this, so it's great to hear that it is locked in!! Did they tell you if it is for 380, or 747/330?

Hahahahaha, yes, you know me Mn64, I CAN'T wait to start now. They haven't told me anything into detail yet. The lady said I will be receiving 3 email from now: 1. The confirmation of the offer; 2. Apply for US visa; 3. Ground school detail.

It's my first time being a flight attendant. I'm nervous, excited and happy!!!

Regarding the first aid certificate, I believe you only need to send it off after the medical check or at the same time. Since the certificate valid for a year, so maybe a good idea to start preparing for it now

Cocoana & kaodwyer, I apologize for congratulating you with such delay, but wasn't checking this forum since I left Australia.
Wishing you the best of luck and some great batch mates to make the experience even better!
KAAATE, yep, Manymiles was the one I was talking about! How great you'll get to meet and what a happy ending for both of you!

Hey Cocoana, just curious as to what you found on Instagram that alludes to Christmas training?

The pictures I saw were from last December, in fact was at the end of December, at Sydney So I think Christmas won't stop the company running for training programs

Cabin Crew Shoes

I've got a silly question ;p Which brand of shoes do I need to buy for work? Hahaha, I don't normally wear high heels for work so have no idea which brand would be most suitable for flying. Or do we have certain standards for shoes?

Thanks

Go on the Louise M website, it actually shows which shoes are approved by Qantas! Very helpful, and they look well made.
