Just a moment ago, I'm gratefully received the updating phone call from Qantas asking for my first aid certificate and reassuring me that they are just waiting for my medical result to be reviewed by the team. Also, the lady asked me about how long do I need to give notice to my current job. I told her that I'm ready to start straight away hahaha... Fingers crossed!!! Hope the golden offer phone call will be just there!!!
Stay strong and be patient my friends, when the day comes, we all will find everything minute for this is worth waiting!!! Good luck to us all!!!

Thats great news Cocoana... I was at the AD 15th July, one day after you so I think I may have just missed the boat for this years training but fingers are crossed that I haven't... Still need to receive "medical email" and that clearly takes time to process etc so I really think it will be next year for me and people that attended AD's after 14th July in Melbourne... Well done again, you must be super excited...

Another prompting news my friends, I've just received the golden call congratulating me of the permanent position with Qantas International based on Melbourne!!!!! The ground school will be starting on 27th October!!!!! JUHO~~~~~~
I'm so happy!!!!
Again, to all of you, thank you for sharing all these information here and for companying each other going through all this hard waiting time. Although we might not meet in person yet but we do have connections together. So guys, stay positive, stay strong, stay calm, we will all eventually get there, flying in the sky.

Wow it is so exciting to read all the good news and positive vibes , congrats cocoana and kaodwyeR !!!!. One by one hopefully we will get that phone call. I got a missed call this afternoon while I am at work and after reading all of these good news , I got butterflies in my stomach lol . It is so exciting to get to do ground school this year . I am really happy for everyone that got through . I am expecting to read great news on this post over the new coming weeks . Keep the good news coming guys

Oh yea, I went for the AD on 14th, and we might have met each other that day haha.
Have you done your medical yet? Maybe go get the vaccines done first just safe some time
That's what I did. Hopefully we can all meet again at the ground school

Regarding the first aid certificate, I believe you only need to send it off after the medical check or at the same time. Since the certificate valid for a year, so maybe a good idea to start preparing for it now

Cabin Crew Shoes
I've got a silly question ;p Which brand of shoes do I need to buy for work? Hahaha, I don't normally wear high heels for work so have no idea which brand would be most suitable for flying. Or do we have certain standards for shoes?
