I heard that there was a website or group or something along those lines that are specifically for flight attendants looking for Flat mates/housing through out Australia! Would anyone happen to know the exact website that this is?

Who did you speak to in regards to Qantas not having space until next year? Also what stage are you up to with Qantas?

I got in contact with recruiters and got hold of a phone number to see if there was the chance to switch bases and so forth, and they said Melbourne at this point does not have a ground school scheduled and most likely next year. I am in the talent pool for Qantas

Hey Cara, what did they say about switching bases? Brisbane is my ideal base but wasn't an option when completing the application. With that said I'd take anything 🤗

I attended the first Melbourne assessment day and I'm still on "active hold" currently waiting for a medical email and ground school.. once they have another one scheduled. I know of quite a few people that are on hold from the Melbourne assessment days in June.

Hi Elljack I went to AD in Melbourne on 13th of July, morning session. Xreference checked and completed, and then I received 12 month active hold email. Did you also go to AD in Melb? And what stage are you at the moment?

I was at the Sydney AD in July, I'm at the same stage as you, Xref done. The email said I would go through to security when I come off hold, but not sure how long that will take. A friend who's cabin crew said she spoke to someone from HR on board in the last few days and they said they were probably going to call some people

Has anyone heard anything about possible dates or know of anyone progressing into a ground school from Melb assessments days? If everyone is on hold, that’s a good sign.

Long time stalker of this thread first time poster.
I was in Melb July AD and know two people who received the hold emails. One of them attened the July AD and the other didnt get offered an interview (both got the same email). I however have completed reference stage and didnt get a hold email, is anyone else in this boat?
