Yes I understand it too, but when someone at least speaks a little bit? Well its not about me, I just thought about the other ones. I am a native german speaker.
@Blue: Yes, but its everywhere written that its just seasonal, so thats why its not a surprise....or do you mean another thing?

Things at PTI regarding their sloppy recruitment don't seem to have changed over the past two years...
They invited me to the interview for AMS two years ago. (i could only work out of AMS, so i had them confirm the possibility to be placed there if successful at the interview, they did).
Come interview day in ZRH two weeks later the recruiters where late, clearly not in a good mood and far from interested in the hopefulls waiting in their lobby.
During the final stage of the hurry-hurry recruitment i was told that AMS base was now full and that it would be MUC or FRA or end of story!

I went home and waited for the result later that week, it never came but it didn't matter that much either.
I called them after two weeks for the heck of it, they told me they somehow lost ALL results from my interview day but told me i was most likely unsuccessful for their AMS base recruitment....WTF?!

I therefore had a very poor impression of PTI on this specific day.
However, if i was out of a (flying) job or aspiring a new one i would take on almost anything decent, also PTI!

Like any other (flying) job, there is alot more supply than demand so airlines can be sloppy, ignorant or just plain rude when it comes to recruitment.
Guess you just have to roll with it and hope to get the position you wished for.

I guess that it must be latest till the 14.01.2010 right, because the people who will be successfull at the AC have to quit they work and normally you have to tell your Manager 4 weeks in advance before you leave.
Well I guess so, not sure:-)

PrivatAir Recruitment

Hi guys

went today to Pti's recruitment day.
they DO test your german on paper and verbal!

it starts with a presentation about PrivatAir
after that you need introduce yourself to the recruiters and group very briefly.
your tests: Mathematics - English and German (all on paper)
than they start with the 1-1 interview from 1hour each in which they ask you all kind of questions and a part of it is in German.

VERY! kind recruiters I must say and still looking forward to work with them. The final result will be within 2wks from now so I cross my fingers :-)

Positions: Frankfurt (8) and Munich (14) figures can change. Zurich positions are available however very less and priority will be given to Swiss people.

Training is 6! weeks and even based in ZRH your hotel will be paid.

Good luck to all who are going next!

Interview

Hi everyone!

Had my interview today...I am not going to inform you about details but you will get an english, german and math test, a group assignment and a one- to one- interview...Here are some answers to your questions:

How many people where there?
about 10
- Do you thing I have enough time to catch my flight on 5.40 pm, starting the interview at 9 am?
Not sure...but from the airport you can easy catch a bus...just one stop to the swiss training centre!

- Are you sure that they will pay accomodation during the course for ZRH based crew too?
Yes...but less than when you are actually working as a flight attendant.
You will stay in a hotel during the training period. (paid by PA)

- Was the german test hard? Could you please give as more details?
You will be fine!

- The contract starts on 15th Februar or after the training?
Starts at the 15th I think because you get your salary as well...

Not mandatory to relocate at all..I heard about 80 percent of the people working for PA do not live at their base...so thats quite a lot!

The recruiters are so friendly and professional! I really enjoyed it...the other people that got invited were also very nice!!

Good luck!

Hey MP767,

if you do think about moving closer to either FRA/MUC and you are looking for accomodation, there is a Blackboard with offers for flats/flatsharing in the FOC in MUC as well as in the LH reporting center in FRA.

Normally those offers are privat so no commision for agencies is necessary. 3 month deposit is the norm in Germany.

Crossing my fingers for all who went to the interview!

Let's hear how it went! And congrats to you GhostPax! Well done!
