Qatar Amiri
Dear all, I was one of the girl who's have the invitation for Qatar Amiri interview in DXB.
Unfortunately Amiri Flight has again had to delay all interviews for their VIP cabin crew recruitment positions. This is due to a management re-structure which has resulted in a delay for sign off for all their current recruitment positions.
They should be able to re-confirm all interviews over the next few weeks, both in London and Dubai .
Also i have read some of the posting about Qatar Amiri and QR ( if they are under the same company )... well, as far as i know they used to be but they are officially separated earlier these year. Which mean Amiri have their own management and is no longer attach with QR management ( which is a good thing ). Qatar Executive Crew is the new position in QR and not in Amiri.

They never mentioned a normal configurated 320 in my interview... Are you absolutely positive or is that something from the past?
Many of you seem to believe that you have to work on QR Airlines for the first 6 months, but they made very clear during my interview that Amiri Diwn and QR Airways are completely separated from eachother nowadays, and you will not be put on any QR flights.
So I am surprised to hear about a 320 jampacked turnarounds (as someone put it in a previous post)

Qatar Amiri has been separated from QR. I think they started doing it last year.
Previously crew had to work six months on QR Mainline before going onto Qatar Amiri. Why? I haven't got a clue and neither did any of the crew who worked there. It probably had to do with getting used to everything. As Foodie says it depended on the CEO and his mood.
This is not the case nowadays because they are TWO different companies and Qatar Amiri is no longer under QR Management.
And, they are struggling to get crew for some reasons. 24/7 isn't very nice but it suits some people. I would think it's the most common roster for any Amiri.

Thanks for the clarification: it is very useful information.
A girl, ex-collague I know, starts in November but she didn't share any information with me so far... Only one thing I know: she will stay in a villa sharing with another girl.
Strange that they are not getting enough crew (if that's the case), it should be a good opportunity for an experienced Qatar crew. Most likely more freedom and more money. Am I correct?

They do have better accommodation for Qatar Amiri and usually a villa. They have a compound somewhere around Doha but I think it's full so they might have got some new places.
Not sure about staff travel now when it's separated from QR.
Basic pay is some $2200 with other allowances on top of that. Anything between $50 and $150. I can't really remember so the figures might be a bit wrong. There's also a monthly transport allowance because you need to get yourself to and from the airport. Some buy their own car, some use taxi.
It's also top secret so not allowed to say where you are going. You'll get a text message which says if you're going somewhere hot or cold so you can pack after that.
Also, you have to sign a one year bond if they haven't removed that bit.

Qatar Amiri - how to apply
Hi!
I just heard as a rumour that interviews will be hold on 11st and 12nd in Dubai but - of course - I couldn't find out how to apply. I didn't find any direct e-mail address on the internet yet.
Did you all apply through the British Agency? (Someone posted the name and I found it: thanks for that.)
How come they are still hiring?! Do they need so many people or do they turn down most of the applicants?! It seems to me that every experienced cabin crew go for an interview with them from all over the world...
