I'am at stage 3 and they strongly advise to start looking for a permanent gateway.
Then I found this picture from this thread: NETJETS Europe hiring again
Seems Gateway and Home base are the same for NJE and if you want to live in another country in EU, you need some paper work for some of them. Does NJE helps to obtain the SS number, is the question. As far as I know, the easiest one is Netherlands where you only need to have a residency here to obtain a SS number. I'd be glad to be wrong. :-)
Please note that you must be able to provide a Social Security number for the Gateway Country you choose to operate out of prior to contract signing. If you do not already have a Social Security number for the Gateway country you would choose to operate out of, you are advised to find out sooner rather than later how this can be obtained and what sort of timeline is involved.

Well, in the last few hiring rounds we had multiple pilots who moved to Spain and other countries when they started to work for Netjets. I guess there must be a way. Maybe one of those guys sees your question and can answer.

Luxembourg is not listed on the document provided. Kura just sent me an email and I quote "Netjets can help with providing further documentation when required". Question answered.

"Seems Gateway and Home base are the same for NJE"
Interesting. During my long drawn out legal case against NJE they bent over backwards argueing with 10,000 euro a day lawyers that there was no such thing as a home base!! All positioning was allegely not duty time and employees were subject to no-ones juristiction anywhere! They truly believe they are outside of anyones law. They lost the case however. They appealed, they lost again. They went to the supreme court. They were denied! So up yours nje!
Yet now they can somehow denfine "Home base."
NJE has a very dark history with countless previous legal cases. Be careful what you wish for? All that glitters is not gold!

Hi there,
anyone going for their stage 3 assessment days?
Would love some insight on to what kind of day it was and what to expect.
I know there is some info already through this thread but the more the better!
I’m in the Aug stage 3 dates, so if anyone is in that group then feel free to PM

Kinda right.....currently I'm too poor to even think about affording coke mate, perhaps in a couple of decades or so down the line, right now i am stuck on eating glue and sniffing gasoline to keep myself awake(and even then, with the price of gas i might cut that too)
but you are absolutely right, no Rugby training before an interview, its not professional to show up with a black eye or a swollen nose
How come you figure that out

You find out at 9am on Day 1 of the company indoc training (though it does occasionally change before you start your course). Plan on the Phenom or the XLS and you won’t be disappointed but if you expect one of the bigger toys then you are very likely preparing for disappointment. If you are very lucky you get the Latitude (because you can also stay on the fleet when you upgrade. Anything bigger requires you to downsize for the upgrade)
