Jetbird problems

Heard from a very reliable source that their main backers pulled out at the last minute leaving the management team desperatelately looking for new investors to the tune of 5 m euros to pay for the 4 Phenom 100 's that are sat in Brazil in Jetclub colours. Until they can finance the purchace the future looks bleak, but lets hope that they find a way out of their predicament for themselves and ultimately the workforce that they have employed, and wish to employ in the future, and hopefully they will have a sound employee base that will take them to the future success that they deserve. Time will tell, give them your support, at least they are trying !

I, like many of you, would sacrafice my right testicle to get a decent flying job now
You say that because you are part of the 80% of the male population having a bigger left testicle. What about the remaining 20% ?

What about the remaining 20%
Well, I think that'd be easy one to work out... we'd sacrifice the left one!

Does it sound strange if I said I'd sacrifice both testicles for JetBird?

Are any of the other incumbents doing okay / well in this tightening market?

What ever happened to Ambeo and their ambitious plans?

Ambeo bent one of their aircraft a few months ago and have gone suspiciously quiet. Flairjet have actually taken delivery of both their aircraft, though not sure if they're flying / have their AOC yet. Blink are still taking on one aircraft a month, though I suspect the result of this will be lower utilisation on the rest of the fleet...

Blink Mustangs

How is it that Blink apparently operate five of their Mustangs into Blackbushe with an LDA of just over 1,000m and a runway declared 'Slippery When Wet'? They must be very light indeed with a jerry can's worth of fuel reserves! Presumably they just position there empty - can't be doing any charters into there?

More than that, B'Bushe goes down to Cat 1 RFF for a couple of hours in the middle of the day and sometimes only has Air/Ground.

I know Farnborough is expensive, but isn't popping into Blackbushe going a little too far in the opposite direction operationally?

I would have thought the insurers would be uncomfortable about that?

Have JB launched ??

I think all of us share the same frustrations . Anyone out there know if JB intend to launch their operation before the end of the year ? All comms seem to be silent of late.....

I think finding the extra funding is causing this long waiting game. They need them 5 aircraft to get flying before they can think about hiring more guys. JB told me they plan to do a 'soft' launch at the end of November/December time then later on an official one.

Each plane will take about 4 days to arrive in Ireland from South America.

I still have hope for them, Its not over till they declare it is !!

What happened the 100 million euro "in place" before the crisis?

I understand only 5 million is required for the first two jets,so reading through JB's press releases and media, the money path is confusing.
