This thread reads like a 'dam of hope' waiting to burst into action, as everyone holds their breath for their call.

Today's Independent has a slightly different outlook, burning through €0.5m a month and still looking for someone to chuck more cash on the fire.

Well I feel for all of you guys hoping to get the Foot into an Operation.
Its horrible sitting at home waiting to get the call or the mail that youre in.

Who knows when we will be informed if the phone interview was positive or negative, and how will they contact us.........by mail or by phone?

Just had this e-mail today from JB:

Unfortunately due to a huge volume of applications and limited time we have been unable to complete all phone screening at this point. We have closed the recruitment for the November session but will continue to complete phone screening over the coming weeks and months and will give each of you the opportunity to speak with us as per our original email. We apologise for the decision but unfortunately there simply is not enough time to screen all of you.

Your application is still active and you are priority for phone screening before any other applicants.

In the meantime, we would greatly appreciate if you can refrain from calling the office in Dublin as we will not discuss recruitment over the phone – if you do have any queries please email us at this address and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible – we are keen to answer all your queries but out of the office quite a bit over the coming weeks!

Well theres your answer.

Funny thing is though, I got the "sorry we didn't get round to screening you" email, even though I HAD been screened!

Dunno what to make of that, if anything.

Wow, they're clearly very busy looking at the range of emails received above. I wonder how many people applied overall, and how many of those met the minimum requirements.

But good for them for keeping people in the loop. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that they probably have a ridiculous amount of applications and it is encouraging to see a range of responses.

I got one almost the same as Phenom 100, although I did the screening .... over the phone they said they have had no luck contacting me for the screening ??? "please email us and let us know if you are still interested. "
The time one has paid out on the German Tax, Digs etc will it be worth it I ask...

Absolutely. In the current climate of "If you don't hear from us, you haven't been successful", it's quite refreshing to find a company that will let you know where you stand, either way.

I also got one like Phenom 100 and have to say am rather unimpressed that they didn't even bother to talk to me after telling me they would. Sounds like they may have some major problems if they can't even conduct some scheduled interviews....
